Pros:

The breakfast was good. Plenty of options.

Cons:

I thought the mattress was hard. Harder than most hotel mattresses. Kind of odd. Not terrible. Just worth mentioning.
They also have a toilet seat on it that doesn't stay in the up position without being held. And the toilet was VERY old. I would like to see Hotels start getting newer better toilets.

Very Relaxing.
Pros:

We were given a room closer to everything..really needed that after a long drive. The Reception was welcoming. Wonderful people we met gave us info on all the places we could see on the way. Breakfast was also great. Awesome experience.

Pros:

The staff was very nice, accommodating and helpful. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the pillows were amazing!

Cons:

There were some things in the rooms that looked old and a little stained, but they were clean. We originally had three people scheduled, so I paid for a room with 2 beds, but one person couldn't make it at the last minute, so we got downgraded to a one bed room, but I still paid the two bed room price.

Decent Stay, but Noise and Smoke Hold It Back
Pros:

TownePlace Suites by Marriott Pocatello was an okay stay overall. The front desk associate, who I believe may have been the assistant general manager, was incredibly kind and welcoming. I wish I remembered her name because she truly deserved recognition.

The room itself was good and consistent with other TownePlace properties I’ve stayed at. However, I did run into a few issues. My room overlooked the front patio, and people used that space all night. The loud conversations made it tough to sleep, so I’d avoid those rooms if possible.

Another concern was the constant cigarette smoke. No matter which exit I used, there always seemed to be someone smoking right outside the door, which meant walking straight into it every time.

The parking lot also had several large trucks parked with their beds sticking far into the sidewalk, leaving little room to walk safely. As you might guess from these details, this hotel seems to cater heavily to blue collar and construction crews, something to keep in mind depending on your preferences.

Overall, it was an okay stay, but I’d recommend choosing something else if you want a quieter or more polished experience.
