This hotel wasn’t what I got a feel for from the pictures half of the lights didn’t work and they charged my chard twice so now I’ve gotta call about that I just want half of my money back the place smell bad in the hall way

Absolutely love our stay here. View was fantastic, room was clean and felt like home. So many different things to do. We will definitely be coming back.

Well when I get there, I was on the 12th floor. Elevators were very crowded. Had to wait for the elevator parking was very far because the elevators only went to the fifth floor in the parking deck so if you had a lot of stuff to carry I had to get $250 hair dryer was rusty was broken. Water dripped all night bed was very uncomfortable mattress matches made a lot of noise under the mattress wet spots no can opener no screen in balcony windows .

Would not stay here again. Desk staff are super rude. Hotel is VERY outdated. A lot broken in room. (Stove,couch, kitchen chair ,bathroom mirror...)

Great location, family friendly, 2 outdoor pools with 1 partially inside, 3 outdoor hot tubs and one inside. Right on the beach, my stay in the angle oceanfront queen w pullout was perfect for a family of 4. Def recommend this hotel, great for the price, would stay again.

They went out of there way to accommodate me .It was rhe most amazing view ..we will be back would recommend to family and friends

I booked a 3-night stay at the Palace Resort and I will never be back.

The first room was disgusting: dead cockroaches in the trash, a used floss pick, crumbs on the floor, a sticky red mess under the fridge, and stained yellow sheets. We were moved to other rooms, but the problems continued — even the towels were dirty and stained. These weren’t small oversights, they were major hygiene failures. I actually ended up buying my own bedding.

On top of that, the rooms look nothing like the photos online. The resort advertises bright, modern spaces, but what we got was outdated, poorly maintained, and dirty. Very misleading.

The receptionist did her best to help by moving us, but management was completely absent. I tried multiple times to contact the manager with never a response. No apology, no explanation, no accountability. I had to go through Expedia, and only then did the hotel refund one of the three nights.

To make matters worse, I later discovered the Palace Resort hides negative comments on Facebook instead of addressing them. That says a lot about how they treat their guests.

For the price I paid, I expected clean rooms and basic service. Instead, I got filthy conditions, unresponsive management, and false advertising. Don’t be fooled by the photos or social media image — the reality is dirty rooms, poor management, and no accountability. Spend your money elsewhere.

I never got to go because I was lied to and Expedia or the palace resort didn't refund my money and I cancelled before 24 hours and Expedia hang up the phone on me twice. The reason I couldn't go is the palace resort wanted me to pay the remainder for the motel and wanted $500 also and I wasn't aware of that. I've ask for My refund but I didn't get it.refund my

Stayed for 4 days, it was amazing and definitely recommend. There’s was lots of things around the hotel as well!

Looks great on my phone it’s very old and used the room was tiny dingy everything the popsicle truck every 15 minutes annoying. The beach was fine. No shopping no restaurants if I go back I’d stay 20 minutes further down the beach

The view is unique, I have been in Myrtle Beach few times and this so far was one of the best, pretty simple but the price for sea view was good

The convenience of the all-around all the jacuzzis was nice The pools was nice everything was convenient The only downside was was the floors just stayed wet all the time with perspiration I don't know where that come from and and with the bed being in the corner there wasn't much space to get in and out other than that everything was good

Looks old and outdated, beds were like sleeping on the floor being so hard. Our room had ROACHES. I had to go to Walmart and buy roach traps, sprinkler was leaking, took forever for the hot water to kick in. Had I done my homework and read some of the other reviews, I probably wouldn't have booked this place.

Excellent ocean view & nearby stores. I will go again & bring my kids 🙂, price is the best & affordable with all services you get & clean room right by the beach, pools & hot tops included .
