Very clean and pleasant environment
Everything -the location was ideal the facilities were excellent and our room was just perfect and it was very clean throughout
The breakfast was ok could have been warmer and we ordered fried eggs which came halfway into our breakfast so a bit disappointed with this
Lovely room in an ideal location for where I needed to be, comfortable, quiet, and clean. Friendly and welcoming staff.
Despite nice set up and pleasant service, the food was a bit disappointing, didn’t really live up to menu descriptions and some items were replaced without being informed.
Loved the Ailsa suite size and facilities although could be stunning if new bedroom carpet and wallpaper
The spa room in the suite is amazing
But for 300 per night there should be coffee pods etc in room and few wee treats
We got breakfast delivered to room felt bad for staff carrying huge trays a wee trolley would be nice also cloches over food trays
Excellent location for son's wedding , comfortable bed , Excellent breakfast
Delays in restaurant when booking table to be seated and delays in receiving food . Staff didn't seem very happy. Lighting in rooms very dim .
The friendly staff especially in reception.
Comfortable room
Prices in the restaurant
Room was nice
Fireworks went off no warning
Poor dogs in this hotel must’ve been terrified.
The Arran suite is amazing , food and spa are equally as good
We had a lovely room which had been recently refurbished. The beds were comfortable, the shower was powerful and the Caramel wafers were a lovely touch. Staff were welcoming and friendly.
The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The breakfast included in our stay was exceptional, both the continental and cooked. The coffee was also very nice. The room spotless and very comfortable. The spa was absolutely amazing and so relaxing.
The only minor thing we could fault would be the bar dividing the carpet and wood floor was quite painful when stood on
Nothing
Had the to volume on at 14 and a memeber of staff phoned the police over it without giving a warning or addressing there was a issue, got escorted out at 2am without any offer of help from hotel after paying £380 for two night stay
Location and staff were very friendly and helpful
I was woken up first thing in the morning by major renovations in numerous rooms on my floor
I would never have stayed if I had known this
I even had difficulty getting in and out of my room
Completely spoiled my stay and I paid good money for one night and did not expect to be woken and being restricted in my movements in and out of my room
Was a lovely location, but unfortunately it was a over priced premier inn
Check in from 3pm room wasn’t ready, had to deal with a manager who sorted it straight away, but not the point, receptionist was so unhelpful, not the service you expected from a hotel charging premium prices
The cups at breakfast were dirty on both visits, to be told that’s where they are used for soup as well,
Regardless of what they are being used for, clean them and check them before being put out.
Loud music being heard from the restaurant in the bedroom above, still playing at 12:30 pm to complain on the second night to be told people are still in the restaurant,
The speaker shouldn’t be there, or sound proofing needed
And the rooms have been done up lovely. But the threshold bar between the hard floor and soft carpet is no good, hurts your feet if you stand on it
