Fabulous modern hotel. Wonderful stay
Pros:

The Stilwell is a new hotel that has been thoughtfully built and furnished to a very high standard. The rooms are lovely with spacious bathrooms and fabulous showers. Attention to detail such as magnifying bathroom mirror. Low lights that are motion sensitive when you get out of bed or go into the bathroom. Lots of lovely white towels and face cloths and tissues that are not always available even in 5 star hotels. The staff are brilliant and greeted us with a glass of champagne. There is plenty of parking. Although there is not a restaurant they offer evening pizzas and snacks served in a lovely courtyard with lots of seating and outdoor gas heaters.

Excelente opção em Carmel
Pros:

Conforto do quarto, ar condicionado, serviço. Fizemos uma reserva de última hora, tarde da noite, apoia descobrirmos que o hotel que originalmente reservamos nao tinha ar condicionado. Apesar de chegarmos tarde da noite, fomos muito bem recebidos e tratados com atenção.

Pros:

The location is great because you can walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The motel was recently renovated.

Cons:

We booked our room 6 months in advance for our anniversary get away weekend. When we arrived, we watched the two couples check in ahead of us receive welcome glasses of champagne and given water bottles for their rooms. We got neither. Our first room was above a restaurant and very noisy. We asked for a different room, and they said there were none. The second day the power in our room kept going out so we got a different room. No apologies. They told us we needed to move within 20 minutes because they needed to clean the room before check-in! Parking can be an issue because of limited spaces. It is a refurbished motel that is way overpriced. There are many better options in Carmel.
