Pros:

We stayed here for a conference, had a room booked at a block rate. Overall it was OK. We had trouble with the water pressure in the shower, very low. Beds had three pillows instead of four. We had an issue with the woman at the desk one evening when we needed regular creamer for our Keurig pods. Only flavored creamers were available, and her response was ' if it's not there, we don't have any'. Seriously? She couldn't find a couple of regular creamers? It seems petty, but pretty much reflects the level of service at this hotel. However, the bartender went above and beyond to take care of customers, including us, who were there late on a Saturday evening. We'll probably look for somewhere else to stay next time we need a room in downtown Mankato.

Pros:

I was downgraded from a suite to a Jr suite and was not told about it. I had been planning this trip for a couple weeks to propose to my then girlfriend and I had surgery the night before so it really felt like a slap in the face, especially since we were not reimbursed for the difference in room cost. The only person that was nice was Andrea at the front desk. She tried to make everything right, but I’m not sure you can fix things like that when you’re not willing to either eat the room cost or pay me the difference but she did try. no thanks to her manager. I was told they overbooked for their suites and I was bumped down because I booked through Expedia. I will say that again I was downgraded because I booked through Expedia.

Pros:

The ice machine didn't work on the floor and when I used my restroom there was like a rubberband that you would wear with braces that had some red on it? Could have been blood, but not sure.

Otherwise, room was nice, good climate control for a comfortable temp and the staff at the front desk was very good.

A entertaining comfortable stay.
Pros:

The location was fantastic loved the pool area it was small yet cozy. Pool was just enough to get your laps in and the hot tub is always a nice addition. Rooms were very nice and spacious. Beds were comfortable and it was clean.

Cons:

Only thing that was not working was my bathroom fan. Hallways also felt pretty muggy but the rooms felt incredible and that’s what matters most

Truly a Phenomenal Experiece
Pros:

The Room on the 6th floor was perfectly arranged and ready for us upon arrival.

The Olive's Restaurant was perfect for us after a long day of travel.

The options for food were superb and the choices of drinks were delightful.

The Manager, wait staff and bar tender were always attentive and demonstrated exceptional teamwork.

Cons:

The 1 think we struggled with was getting from the parking lot to the correct set of elevators to the hotel.
