The hotel is near Tokyo Station but it was difficult to find the Nihombashi exit which is just 1 min from our hotel because it is not a major exit and thus there were few signs pointing to that exit. After a while, we learnt to look out for the Yaesu Central/north exit and to look for a sign to Sapia tower (hotel lobby is on the 27th floor) or Nimhombashi. Because Tokyo Station is huge, the hotel is actually at least 4-7 minutes from the station depending on where you end up in the station, not 2 minutes as indicated by google map. Don't bother to book a room overlooking the train tracks, at least not for the next 1 year. There is heavy construction going on just next to the train tracks so you are looking at construction cranes all the time - see photo. The room was Ok though my hubby said it was small considering we only had one luggage between the two of us and no place to put the luggage on the floor except in front of the room door. And for some strange reason, although we reduced the temperature to 22 degree celcius and increased the fan speed to double, it still felt hot under the duvet so we could not get a good night's sleep. We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and then for another 2 nights after we returned from Kyoto.
The location was excellent, right next to Tokyo Station, which made getting around incredibly easy. One of the most memorable touches was the large model display in the lobby, complete with working trains — a really interesting and unique feature. The staff were pleasant and helpful throughout our stay, and the room itself was clean.
The room was very small, which made it difficult to move around comfortably. The shower floor was quite slippery, and the shower gel felt low quality. We also found that the restaurant had very limited vegetarian options at both breakfast and dinner, which was disappointing.
Accessible to the train station, nearby parks, shopping
Location excellent and good size room
Proximité de Tokyo station
Chambre très exiguë
Room was a bit small
very convenient location to Tokyo station. Generous amenities (loved the body lotion), spacious room especially for Tokyo standards (room with a view type), comfortable bedding (except for the pillows which i have trouble with for all hotels i've stayed in Japan)
it was a shame that there was a construction going on which affected the view, otherwise the skyline would've been pretty!
velmi blizsko Tokyo central station
very convenient location, well equipped bathroom
standard or slightly larger than average Tokyo room size (room without a view type), no body lotion provided
Superb location. Easy access to subway and Shinkansen too. Very courteous and efficient English speaking staff. Bottled water provided daily.
Room size was rather tight, limited space for opening luggages. Carpet looked old and grubby.
Tiny and bed is uncomfortable
