Won't come back or recommend
Pros:

The staff was nice, the view great. We had a hard time getting in our room and the hospitality person, I think their name was TeeJay, was very helpful. Breakfast at the Overlook was nice.

Cons:

The price was not worth the room. As it was double then what we would usually pay, we thought we were going to the fanciest hotel ever and this was a 50 year old hotel, not within walking distance of town, and adequate room. No table to sit at to eat, the coffee area was small. Coffee was not great and the to go cups lids broke when you went to put them on. We never went to the piano bar but it did not look like our kind of place.

Views from room were exceptional. Our room faced the water and it was spectacular.

Cons:

Everything was perfect. Quiet, roomy. I preferred being away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, while still being close.

The Bluenose provided a safe, warm, comfortable, and very nice place to stay.
Pros:

The rooms are very nice, a good size, beds are very comfortable, the electric fireplace adds a nice touch.

Beautiful hotel with a Fabulous View and Staff
Pros:

The view from our room was amazing! It was such a big room, and we loved staying here! The staff was amazing!

Cons:

We were a little warm in the room. The a/c was down all the way, and we were still a little uncomfortable at times, but it didn't affect our opinion of the hotel!

Pros:

Location , view from most of the rooms, facilities in the rooms-suites and available in the hotel-inn. Staff in the evening were a little curt and not forthcoming, but morning staff were very cordial .

The restaurant was closed for dinner, downtown is not walkable distance, dangerous turn from the road to the driveway, dated AC, high prices

Pros:

room amenities, quality of details, and view fantastic. All staff were friendly and efficient. Location near Acadia outstanding.

Cons:

exercise room equipment limited and steam room out of service while we were there. Onsite restaurant open for lunch and dinner during the week would be nice.

Pros:

We liked the large room and the large bathroom . The view was excellent. Price was reasonable for Bar Harbor and the time of year. Great Room was very nice.

Beautiful option if looking to splurge.
Pros:

View was beautiful - we stayed on 3rd floor King with fireplace and couch.
It was a wonderful room to come back to after beautiful visits to Bar Harbor and Acadia.

Cons:

It was slightly pricey but overall worth it since everything was beautiful. We would have also enjoyed more food options at the hotel.
