Just didn’t give the five star luxury experience it claims to be

The food was lovely and the spa treatment were lovely.

Cons:

The room was wheelchair accessible with everything low down. Which is useful if you need it for that purpose otherwise it was very inconvenient needing to stoop down for everything. Room had no soap and when I left the lid out to refill for the second night it was just replaced and no soap added. The pool was freezing cold like going for an ice dip.

Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at the Savoy. Sarah went above and beyond to give us the most amazing and fabulous stay this weekend! Nice touches in the room. The hotel was amazing, clean and staff extremely pleasant. We will definitely be returning 😊

Pros:

I recently stayed at The Savoy Hotel and, while the location and overall atmosphere remain very good, this visit wasn’t quite as enjoyable as my previous stay. There was a noticeable smell in the room, which affected the overall comfort.

I’m hoping this was just a one-off issue, as I’ve had a better experience here before and would love to see it return to the high standard expected of a 5-star hotel.
