I really enjoyed having access to the pool, and the service was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay more enjoyable.
I was disappointed to find mold in the ventilation system, which was unpleasant and concerning from a hygiene perspective. I also found the tourist tax to be quite high compared to the overall cost of the stay.

Un po' tutto ha la palestra biliardo biliardino ping pong piscina credo sia un buon hotel per le vacanze . Un particolare pollice in sù per la Signora Monica del buffet ... Una persona eccezionale e delicata ... Ci ha fatto sentire molto bene e gli auguro il meglio .. Grazie a tutti dei servizi...
Pollice in giù per la reception... Trattano i clienti molto male .... Non dovrebbero lavorare in questo campo ... Non si viene al lavoro solo perché bisogna lavorare .. per lo meno senza gentilezza e disponibilità..... Ho visto mentre fanno il check in.... Horrible.. Del resto ritorneremo!!!✌🏽
We booked a wee to stay at the Roma Tor Vergata as a base to explore Rome and other areas of Italy.
We stayed at the hotel for four nights out of the seven we booked. The hotel is around 7 minutes walk to Torre Gaia metro station and around 15 minutes from Torre Angela. We found that u eta aren’t easy to get from the stations and when we tried to get taxis they was hard to get in the area. We didn’t mind the walk to the metro station. The hotel doesn’t have much around it. There’s a small shop and near the station a McDonalds. There’s a couple of restaurants near the McDonald’s too, on the opposite side of the main road. The area around the hotel isn’t very nice. There’s a lot of litter and broken glass that was never cleared away. The hotel also had lots of rubbish out the back that wasn’t in bins and was all over the floor. This was the view from my friends room. Our room over looked the Main Street.
When you go to the metro station and head right out of the hotel main entrance, the area is nicer. Go left and there was some people hanging around the streets which made it feel uncomfortable as the men approached us trying to get us to engage. We was two single mums with our children.
The hotel itself was ok. The receptionist’s was helpful. They wouldn’t allow us to play on the pool table with our children which felt pretty off. The children was disappointed.
The hotel has a bar that wasn’t busy at all and there was a football table outside. We didn’t eat at the restaurant, but we had breakfast included. Breakfast consisted of a few hot items such as scrambled eggs, beans and sausage. There was also a lot of cakes that tasted very dry and cereals. The children took some extra wafer biscuits for when we travelled on the metro and they was told off by the waiter for doing so. Which was off as we barely ate and we had paid for seven days breakfast and ate there three times only.
The hotel rooms was basic. There wasn’t many functioning plug sockets. The shower door kept coming off the rails and the toilet was dirty and needed a good clean as it was brown inside the cistern itself. The beds was ok. We slept well as we was out all day exploring the city.
The pool was ok. The children enjoyed it. There was always a subbed or chair available. There was an issue with red ants, so take some repellant.
The rooms had balconies but no where to sit. So a bit pointless.
When travelling to Rome you can get to the colosseum in around 30 minutes door to door. The metro came every eleven minutes. We bought a week long metro ticket for 29 euros each. The children travelled for free. This was a bargain. They also do 24 and 48 hour tickets I believe.
Overall I wouldn’t return to this hotel. The value for being close to Rome was ok but I’d rather stay in a nicer area where there’s more around the hotel. The litter and glass everywhere outside the hotel was off putting and to be honest, the hotel could organise cleaning if it. Over the week we stayed no one cleared the mess. The hotel could improve by cleaning up the bins and storing rubbish in actual bins rather than all over the floor where rooms overlook. This is basic in my opinion and lets the hotel down massively. The hotel could make things much nicer with minimal effort.
Presenza tavolo ping pong, calcio balilla e biliardo. Abbastanza buona la piscina seppur non molto grande e da pulire maggiormente causa presenza incrostazioni di sporco. I ragazzi della struttura in generale gentili.
La struttura non adeguata alle 4 stelle dichiarate. Ci sono parecchi buchi dovuti ad istallazioni di tv o altro, non coperti con la giusta cura. Corridoi polverosi e con pittura staccata ( anche nella stanza) . La doccia perdeva acqua sul pavimento. Caffè al bar dell’hotel al costo di 2 euro mi sembra eccessivo. Presenza macchinetta caffè e bevande solo con monete. Forse nel 2026 bisognerebbe prevedere pagamenti digitali. La colazione non era all’altezza di un 4 stelle. Sicuramente sarà stato un ottimo hotel ma si nota l’incuria e per questo non dovrebbe riportare le 4 stelle.
