Pool, location, nice staff
We had a great stay. I gave a few suggestions based on our time there to make it even better, but they are not important. Great place for family vacation.
Close to beach and boardwalk.
Second floor, pool view, only access was stairs. My husband is disabled but he took it slowly up the stairs.
We had such a wonderful stay at The Forum in Ocean City, NJ! The location could not have been more perfect—just steps from the beach and boardwalk, which made it so easy to enjoy morning walks, beach days, and evening treats without ever needing to drive. The staff was warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home from check-in to check-out.
Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-kept, which made relaxing after a long day in the sun such a treat. The pool was also a great bonus—perfect for a quick dip when we wanted a break from the sand. The whole property felt family-friendly and well-cared for, with a classic charm that really fits Ocean City’s atmosphere.
We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already excited to return. The Forum is definitely a spot we’d recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable beach getaway in Ocean City!
It was quiet, beds were great, hard to read away from lamp, linens were soft and plentiful- could not get wheel of fortune or Bib Brother on cable
thank you for a wonderful holiday! the rooms are very clean and modern, the managers at the frondesque are very friendly and will always help with all questions. the pool is very nice
the only negative would be to add a coffee machine in the hall
The room was large compared to other hotel/motels we had stayed in at OC NJ.
Their policy of no refund. A bad storm was coming in Sunday morning and they were calling for coastal flooding. We left a night early and they stuck by the no refund policy. I understand it's a business but it was unsafe to stay.
The rooms were a nice size and very clean. The shower head was great with hot water.
They were calling for coastal flooding and we checked out a night early, and they have a no refund policy.
We had a great few days to wrap up the summer at the Forum. We stayed in the 2 br apt, my daughter 2 grandkids and myself and it was perfect. Comfy beds with clean crisp sheets and an awesome shower! I loved that it is 1 block off the boardwalk. I ordered a mobility scooter and it was waiting in the lobby when I arrived. Staff is always helpful and quick to respond. We will definetly return to the Forum
Very clean and updated room. Comfy beds and linens. Random, but amazing shower pressure! Great location and easy to get to. Definitely will be staying here again.
We don't recommend this place. We stayed in the 2 Bedroom Apartment. This is the apartment that is close to, but detached from the main motel. There's no elevator, just an outside flight of stairs up to the apartment. Not a big deal if you have family members that can help carry up the luggage, but just mentioning it because not everyone does and it's also not handicap friendly. The staff didn't offer to help. Also, the parking lot is tight and doesn't offer a guaranteed spot. Part of the parking lot (around half) is valet. Once we got a spot, we chose to keep it and walk to places so we wouldn't lose it or need to wait for the valet. Also, there are a couple more parking spaces completely separate from the motel for those who get shut out on site. The apartment itself didn't have a beachy vibe. We prefer a place with a beach feel when down the shore. While it was nice to have 2 separate bedrooms, there were so many things we didn't like about the place that it wasn't worth the $760 per night that we paid (ouch, that thought still hurts). And there was one bathroom. At first I wasn't able to get a clear answer on that when booking. The bedroom and family room views were of building walls across the alley way and electrical wires, so no views, which made us feel somewhat confined. The apartment was "renovated" but still had an old feel. There were window units for the A/C in the bedrooms, and there wasn't much lighting. There were only one or two outlets in the bedrooms and no outlet or lamp near the nightstand in one of the bedrooms. The beds were comfortable enough, but creaked at times when you moved in them. The kitchen was bare boned and seemed as if management hadn't looked at it in a long time. The kitchen sink had an awful smell coming up from the drain whenever we turned on the water. I was hoping to use that sink as a second sink for us to get ready in the morning and evening, but it smelled too bad to use. In the cabinets there were 2 coffee cups, one wine glass, and a partial set of dishes. There was a coffee maker but no coffee (in the lobby either), and no paper towels I don't know if lack of basic supplies is a new thing, but where we've stayed in OC in recent years there have always been these basic supplies and we paid a lot less. And you couldn't get regular TV channels on the TV, only UTube channels, which was annoying the whole week. My husband is good with that stuff and was sure about it. Also, the microwave seemed very old and had one setting. We wanted to defrost a bagel and reheat some food over the week but had to use cook for everything. The bathroom was fine but the hairdryer needed a lot of tries to work, and there was a lot of closet space in the place but only a couple hangers total so you couldn't use much of the space. We complained about the sink smell and the microwave and they said they would send someone to look at them, but we don't like to have people coming in to fix stuff while we're on vacation, and there was so much to fix they would have been there for we don't know how long. All these issues couldn't have just happened when we got there so they should have been addressed beforehand. The employees at The Forum are nice, but not very knowledgable answering basic questions I had when booking and while there. They usually had to ask the manager and get back to me. One more thing to note, I had considered booking two adjoining regular rooms instead of the apartment. I was originally told that there wasn't a guarantee I would get them adjoining, then told by another employee that it would be no problem and it just needed to be noted on the reservation, but then told by someone else that there are hardly any adjoining rooms and reservations for them have to be made months in advance. I'm still confused, but I would go with no guarantee.
Great location, room was a good size with lots of helpful touches; shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soaps etc.
The pool was freezing
J justin and the housekeeper were wonderful.
Justin was able to help me with the price. So I stayed two extra days.
Customer service skills of professionalism.Listening to the guest and having a positive attitude couldn't have been better.
I wish I could have stayed a couple extra days
The only thing I would add is a coffee pot. Please please please please
