great value for money
sarp edges of table furnitures in the room
Nice spacious room.
The water pressure is abysmally low, do not expect to have a decent shower experience. Hotel staff are aware of this, apparently the pipes are too narrow. I wonder why the were put them in first place and why nobody has actually taken care of the issue and replaced them...
Cleanliness, size of room
My stay was excellent. I had to scramble for a place to stay after my short term rental with VRBO was canceled the night before checking in. I have stayed at this facility many times in the past so I knew what to expect. Those expectations were far exceeded which will make decisions to stay there in the future alot easier.
Cant blame your staff for the noisy people above me at times but it wasn't much to complain to staff about.
Clean, friendly staff and great location for my appt at MD Anderson
Needed a few maintenance check ups such as light switches that were broken cracked tile in the shower
1st room had a STRONG smell of cat urine. although the front desk lady knew about this, she still put me in the room. Then, when I complained, we had to get the manager involved to switch the room out. It was horrible. I was exhausted. The second problem is my daughter's reservation was not she did not get what she paid for.
room and reservation
I am a Hilton Honors member and always try and use Homewood suites when I travel which is often. On this trip I was accompanied by my wife and my 85 year old mother in law.The problem began on the morning of November 12th.As I normally do at every other Homewood suites I go down stairs and get breakfast and bring it back to my two bedroom suite. As I was preparing to return to my room with my breakfast the very RUDE breakfast attendent MARIA told me I could not take my food back to my room.I have stayed in MANY MANY Homewood suites and NEVER have I been told I could not take my food back to the room.At that point I asked for the manager.I went to the front desk and the sales manager ANA MOCTEZUMA offered no solution but to say that's the rule..I explained to her I'm with my 85 year old mother in law and I was not trying to have her come all the way downstairs..Again she stated that's the rule with a very NASTY TONE.At that point I asked for the manager..She informed me he would be in later but could not give me a specific time.We never heard from the manager Charles Grimes until 5 pm that evening when he left a message to call him or see him the next day. This encounter happened at 8 am that morning.Well the next day the same thing happened when I went down for breakfast. There was a different breakfast attendent SILVIA who was just as rude as the lady MARIA...SILVIA went as far as to remove the plates from the serving area preventing me from getting plates..Only when I called to my room and my wife having to leave my mother in law alone in he room came down to record the incident did she final put the plates back. Finally that afternoon my wife went down to the front desk and the manager CHARLES GRIMES was there. He also offered no help stating thats there RULE..As a valued customer I think that situation at that location needs to be addressed.I would NEVER stay at that location again.........
Lovely facility. Super clean. Very comfortable. Excellent breakfast buffet. The king sized room I stayed in came with a full kitchen, dining area, and work area. Lots of space. Would definitely stay here again!

My room was missing a phone. But that was ok, because I just called down to the reception from my cell phone if I needed anything.
