Bay View Resort

The space was very clean and well maintained. I will be returning to this property.

Drove in from Ohio to get married. Accidentally booked a room that wasn’t facing the ocean. Trenton went above and beyond to get us switched to an ocean view room free of charge! Beautiful resort! We have been coming here since 2010. Very family friendly.

Roaches.. Even the professional exterminator sent in did not help.. Stayed for 2 months and was like a nightmare.

We spend the winter at Bayview and have been doing so for the past 6 years. We have seen it at its worst (2021) and then watched it come back. While the furnishings are getting tired, many of the rooms have been renovated. We have been lucky that the beds are very comfortable and fairly new.
While it gets busy on weekends, it's very quiet Dec - February during the week. There are a a good number of snowbirds from around the country, so the demographics tend to be older with the younger people coming in for the weekends.
Pools and hot tubs are well maintained and the grounds are constantly being worked on and cleaned up.
We have never had a negative experience regarding the area or parking, and we love being close to the board walk and a step away from the sand.
The views can't be beat. Weekends the smell of weed is noticed, but I think you are getting that everywhere these days.
The staff at Bayview have been wonderful. I really appreciate the housekeeping services that they provide. Miss Pearl our housekeeper does an excellent job.
It would be nice to see the clientele be a bit more respectful. Some are just messy and don't pick up after themselves.

Love spending time here. Older crowd. Very busy on weekends. Rooms through the resort directly need a little updating. But the staff is great and very helpful and friendly.

La vista al Oseano

Great location. Outdated motel. Not what you would expect for the money you pay. Issues with my room including sliding door having to be forced open and closed. Toilet barely flushing. Heat not working good. Mattress horrible. All reported to hotel staff/management and Expedia with no attempts to correct the issue Clerk refused to switch my room although the clerk told me they were not fulll.

We enjoyed our stay, everything was clean and neat. Maintenance came when called. We enjoyed our stay.

The location of Bay View Resorts is fantastic. We love it here, we stayed for a month in February 2025 and now for another month in October 2025.

Since I work from "home". Why not make "home" on the beach. We've stayed in an Ocean Front and Ocean View Condo. Everyone is friendly and clean. Beds are great. Fun to be steps away from Ocean

Every thing is wonderful, plenty of things to do, close to everything! Just wish the weather was better

We traveled here for a funeral. We decided to stay afterwards for a couple of days to recover. The beds were very comfortable, the 8 plump pillows on both beds was a nice touch. The room service and cleaning was exceptional , everyone was pleasant and friendly. The 2 hot tubs were large ,roomy and clean. The outdoor lap pool was nice, slightly warmed for the 60s temp outside. The indoor pool was nice and large and the slightly warmed indoor lazy river with tubes was a hit. The giant checkers and chess games inside were a nice touch too. Breakfast restaurants ,icecream/funnel shops and Pizza, gyro, calsone, Greek desert restaurant were just across the street and open late.we thoroughly enjoyed our oceanfront balcony view. We kept our door open and slept to the sound of the ocean waves....ahhhhhhh, zzzzzzzzz

The room is a little out dated especially the bedroom. The lighting is poor overall. I didn’t know full beds were still around.

The property was a great place to stay I love the view it’s close to everything else the rooms were very nice but the rooms had a old house smell inside of the room but I enjoyed myself

I like that I was in walking distance to everything.

Our favorite part was that you could see the ocean from every room! We had an amazing time and everything we done was easily walkable! Will stay here again!

The room was not clean at ALL.. It was very out dated. Nothing like the pictures.

Have stayed here a few times before, always reliable and pleasant. Checked in quickly and easy. Room was clean, staff helpful and friendly. Had a problem with the room beyond the hotel's control, so they had us move to another room very quick and easy. Ocean front view very nice. Front desk very helpful. Pool area busy but clean. Inside hotel fairly busy and about as clean as could be expected. Outside property area needs help, a bit worn and dirty. Late summer at the beach i get it but trash around the property leaves an impression. This hotel is not new but considering that it's condition and wear and tear above average for Myrtle Beach. The hotel is really nicely located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, just a short walk away from most of the fun things and a short drive away from North Myrtle, Broadway, ect.

The condo was very nice. I had city view so it was noisy. There were pest in the room and I had to spray all luggage down with bug spray. The parking was very inconvenient as Bayview now shares a parking deck with another hotel. I was only given one parking pass for two cars during my stay. Overall my family enjoyed the beach getaway and we met awesome people during our stay.

The room could’ve been cleaned better & new utensils would’ve been nice , had to switch rooms due to bedbugs , room floors wasn’t swept, vacuumed or mopped & housekeepers didn’t give clean towels or room service.
