Bay View Resort

Love spending time here. Older crowd. Very busy on weekends. Rooms through the resort directly need a little updating. But the staff is great and very helpful and friendly.

Great location. Outdated motel. Not what you would expect for the money you pay. Issues with my room including sliding door having to be forced open and closed. Toilet barely flushing. Heat not working good. Mattress horrible. All reported to hotel staff/management and Expedia with no attempts to correct the issue Clerk refused to switch my room although the clerk told me they were not fulll.

We enjoyed our stay, everything was clean and neat. Maintenance came when called. We enjoyed our stay.

The location of Bay View Resorts is fantastic. We love it here, we stayed for a month in February 2025 and now for another month in October 2025.

Since I work from "home". Why not make "home" on the beach. We've stayed in an Ocean Front and Ocean View Condo. Everyone is friendly and clean. Beds are great. Fun to be steps away from Ocean

Every thing is wonderful, plenty of things to do, close to everything! Just wish the weather was better

We traveled here for a funeral. We decided to stay afterwards for a couple of days to recover. The beds were very comfortable, the 8 plump pillows on both beds was a nice touch. The room service and cleaning was exceptional , everyone was pleasant and friendly. The 2 hot tubs were large ,roomy and clean. The outdoor lap pool was nice, slightly warmed for the 60s temp outside. The indoor pool was nice and large and the slightly warmed indoor lazy river with tubes was a hit. The giant checkers and chess games inside were a nice touch too. Breakfast restaurants ,icecream/funnel shops and Pizza, gyro, calsone, Greek desert restaurant were just across the street and open late.we thoroughly enjoyed our oceanfront balcony view. We kept our door open and slept to the sound of the ocean waves....ahhhhhhh, zzzzzzzzz

The room is a little out dated especially the bedroom. The lighting is poor overall. I didn’t know full beds were still around.

The property was a great place to stay I love the view it’s close to everything else the rooms were very nice but the rooms had a old house smell inside of the room but I enjoyed myself

I like that I was in walking distance to everything.

The room was not clean at ALL.. It was very out dated. Nothing like the pictures.

Our favorite part was that you could see the ocean from every room! We had an amazing time and everything we done was easily walkable! Will stay here again!

Have stayed here a few times before, always reliable and pleasant. Checked in quickly and easy. Room was clean, staff helpful and friendly. Had a problem with the room beyond the hotel's control, so they had us move to another room very quick and easy. Ocean front view very nice. Front desk very helpful. Pool area busy but clean. Inside hotel fairly busy and about as clean as could be expected. Outside property area needs help, a bit worn and dirty. Late summer at the beach i get it but trash around the property leaves an impression. This hotel is not new but considering that it's condition and wear and tear above average for Myrtle Beach. The hotel is really nicely located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, just a short walk away from most of the fun things and a short drive away from North Myrtle, Broadway, ect.

The condo was very nice. I had city view so it was noisy. There were pest in the room and I had to spray all luggage down with bug spray. The parking was very inconvenient as Bayview now shares a parking deck with another hotel. I was only given one parking pass for two cars during my stay. Overall my family enjoyed the beach getaway and we met awesome people during our stay.

The room could’ve been cleaned better & new utensils would’ve been nice , had to switch rooms due to bedbugs , room floors wasn’t swept, vacuumed or mopped & housekeepers didn’t give clean towels or room service.

Clean room, great amenities, but needs a serious update on the furniture. I’ve been incoming here since the early 2000’s. I love it here.

Everything was great except for parking

DO NOT STAY HERE! Great location, the employees were very nice, but the rooms. Nasty!

My family and I used to stay here several years ago. We started staying at another resort because it started to seem run-down. My husband and I took a chance to stay here since we're familiar with the location, and we've stayed here (as I stated earlier). First of all, let me start by saying the employees who work here are very nice and personable upon check-in to the housing attendants, and just provide good customer service overall. However, the room we were given; Room #1110. Please DO NOT stay in this particular room. I know each condo can be individually owned. The owner and the Manager of this hotel should be ashamed of themselves for not upgrading this room. You would NOT WANT to sleep or sit in it, so why would you expect your guest to? The hallway smelled old, the room had an odor, the microwave was rusted on the inside, the bathroom toilet seat was worn out, and you could start seeing brown spots on the seat; the living room couch had stains on it. The bed closer to the door as you walk into the bedroom; the mattress is stained. We slept on the bed closer to the window because the mattress looked fairly new. Yes, we should have gotten another room, but it was just a quick getaway, and we were tired from the drive in. I used 2 cans of Lysol, two bottles of Clorox wipes, and mold and mildew to clean this unit from top to bottom. We have to place towels on the couch to sit on and on the back of it to lie and be able to relax comfortably. We will never stay at this hotel again. The room was HORRIBLE and NASTY!!!
