Außergewöhnlich freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, wunderschöner Garten, gutes Frühstück. Wir haben ein Upgrade bekommen und ein großes Zimmer mit Kamin gehabt. Gerne wieder.
Good location for closeness to Blaise, and buses to centre (or walking if you want to walk an hour). Supermarket and pub on doorstep. Really spacious room !
Bit outdated but we didn’t mind. Very squeaky bed.
Rooms poor standard. Requires updating
In quiet pretty area, easy to access from the motorway. Super helpful staff very clean and excellent value for money
Slightly tired decoration in places
The reception staff and other personnel are very helpful and friendly. The location is convenient for access into Bristol and back onto the M5 motorway.
Parking is free. Tea and coffee making facilities along with a fan heater (essential) and a small wardrobe, desk, chairs, a coffee table and a reasonably sized TV are provided. Very large room and the bed was firm but comfortable. Breakfast and drinks served are very nice.
Single glazed old sash windows not ideal for cold nights and the broken glass didn't help. Bathroom is functional, if a little form over function. Breakfast options have to be selected the day before so you have to decide if you will be hungry 10-12 hours before. Coffee and tea were PG Tips and standard Nescafe.
Nice room, plenty of space and well appointed though nowhere to hang clothes.
Breakfast was no more than OK. Good bacon and eggs but quality of tomato and hash brown was poor. Had to ask for more coffee to be brought in as there was only enough for one cup in the flask.
room was very good thought food was expensive, outside of building desperatly needs some refurb
perhaps a small fridge in room, for milk or soft drinks or water
Very friendly - great rooms - good breakfast.
Access is a little tricky
Very clean room and bathroom. Nice staff.
Quite tired. The decor was old fashioned and a little tired, but I like old fashioned rather than tired. Limited parking
I really enjoyed my stay at Henbury Lodge. My room was in the converted mews, I was very impressed by the size of my room, and the whole place is very inviting.
Breakfast was very well cooked and tasty, I see that other reviews have complained about the sausages, well they must’ve changed their supplier because the ones that I had were lovely. As others have said you have to select your options the night before but it makes sense to do so as the staff are promptly ready with your food.
My biggest props must go to the staff, they were incredibly kind, welcoming and added to the inviting atmosphere. The lady on reception (I didn’t catch her name) was absolutely lovely, such a credit to the team.
The room was nice and clean, the car park - tight but Ok.
The heating in the room was provided by a small DREO device that had a mind of its own: its thermostat was definitely off, and it kept turning off for no apparent reason.
Good location for bus stop to town centre or out of town shopping mall
Fine for one night stay. Selected for location
excellent staff and service. Breakfast was really good and the beds were very comfortable.
