Honestly nothing other than the location..
Room was extremely dirty upon entering. I had to bring in my own Clorox wipes and wipe down all the surfaces, also toilet was gross. Some of the surfaces had some sort of residue on them. There were also ants in the sink upon arrival, in bathroom and we caught one crawling on us in bed too. The toilet was also dirty, and the tv was not working properly. The deadbolt on the door is none existent, looks like someone tried to put a new one up but didn’t succeed so left it without. The doors in the room were disgustingly dirty, like they have never been cleaned. The tiles in the bathroom are broken and cracked so we had to put down a hotel so we didn’t cut our feet as they were sharp. Hall ways smelled of marijuana on arrival along with cat pee the last night we came back to the hotel to stay. Overall not a good experience. And for $235 dollar for two night is crazy with the experience we have had.
Fairly clean.
Called me at 11pm demanding more money, they took money at least 5 times adding up to about 700. Stay away!
Nice staff clean rooms
Loved everything about it nothing to not like
Nothing.
Start with location. We almost got jumped in the parking lot at check in. Breakfast didn't have much of anything. Place was dirty. Bathtub fixtures falling out. Bathroom towel rack falling off wall. Hole behind toilet. Homeless person was trying to get in while we were trying to leave in the early morning.
The only thing I liked about this facility as it was cheap; however, I truly learned the lesson that you get what you pay for.
This facility was horrible. Worse than the first time I stayed a few years ago. I picked this location as it was close to my aunt for my uncle’s funeral. When I arrived I’m standing there waiting to be helped and thank goodness the other girl mentioned it as finally the other staff member assisted me. The bed was so bad I couldn’t sleep and my body is still hurting from the 1 night. The breakfast was a joke. They had waffle mix and cold cereal. I reported the horrible breakfast and they said they don’t provide protein or other options but on the weekends. The staff were limited accessible so I just dealt with it. I will never stay at this location again.
Did it was very comfortable and it was a great place for us just to put our head down while we're in Des Moines
Didn't like that they said that there was a hot tub in there wasn't a hot tub I think that's faulse advertisment
I like that they were very nice and considerate but I left early like 2 days early I think wouldn't give me my rest of my money back but they did give me my deposit
I didn't like that I checked out on Wednesday instead of Friday or Tuesday instead of Friday and then get my money back because they said that I had a prmo so I lost my money but my aunt was really sick and she been dying and I had to get back home
Great location to fairgrounds where our event was. Our original room went into renovations, but they moved us to a comparable room.
They are in process of repainting, so halls smelled of paint and carpets were messy. Could have had more breakfast options
We didn't eat breakfast.
I liked that there was a place outside for smokers.
The price of pop and water in the vending machines, but i realize that everything has gone up in cost.
Location was great for the fairgrounds, right across the street.
Beds and pillows were very comfy.
Room temperature was perfect.
In room 207, I wanted a nice hot bath but there was no plug. I used a plastic cup to stop up the drain.
The walls are very thin, you can hear details of people's conversation as they walked past.
I stayed when the building was first up and now it's run down and there were bugs everywhere.
