Nice looking hotel

Pros:

Loved this place was so friendly great bar inside , and outside seating which I like , plus everyone was chatty and rooms were lovely and clean nice shower and great comfy bed slept good will definitely go back again

Cons:

Entertainment should be on a Friday aswell even if it's karaoke or something would make it better specially when I can't pick resbite days and I get a Friday only to do these

Comfortable, good location for us, good value for money and we will be back.

Cons:

Radiators didn't work small heater supplied was not enough
Lighting was poor to 'Orange' bedside lights where useless meaning we had to have the 25 bulb main light on or sit in the dark!
Door and key system, very easy to leave room unlocked
One of our party lost his key and was told to wait 2 hours for the owner to return with the master key !

Get a tent and pitch up in Coundon Wedge for a better nights stay. Never been so disgusted.
Pros:

The best things about The Jacobean Hotel was my leaving. The place is so unhygienic, smells of damp and was reminiscent of a builders yard.

Cons:

The mattress was broke, hairdryer slimy and carpets and pillows and duvet all unclean and with hairs / stains. I grew up in Coventry around the corner in Coundon on Dallington Rd. Visiting from MCR overnight and thought I’d support local business. Remembering the old Brooklands Grange, never visited, I thought give it a go. Since returning home I’ve had multiple showers and washed my belongings multiple times. £90 in any of the big 3 cities in the UK overnight would at least let you have a bed side plug to charge your phone over night too. Absolute cowboys and the place needs a deep clean / an inspection from Coventry City Council Environmental Health team. PLEASE AVOID BOOKING HERE!

Convenient for our arrangements.
Pros:

We attended a funeral and so booked overnight stay. Staff were friendly and efficient in hotel and bar. Bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

Bathroom was disappointing for a deluxe room. Not very well maintained. No hand towels or bath mat and shower leaked and flooded the room.

Will return when next staying for work in Coventry.
Pros:

Breakfast was plentlyful, well cooked and good quality.
Room was clean and well decorated, bed was comfy.

Cons:

Wait for breakfast on first morning. Serving staff were apologetic for the wait though.
