okay
Cons:

Hotel was okay but didn't like the food options on the menu too much and the staff in the dining room seemed quite confused about a few things. We paid for our meals each time we dined however, it seemed out meals were added to our bill at check-out time which we had to have corrected.

Fabulous Sunday lunch
Pros:

Fabulous Sunday lunch. We’ve lived in Tunbridge wells for around 7 years and have been meaning to pay the Royal Wells hotel a visit. We were not disappointed. The food is AMAZING highly highly recommend, excellent with allergies. Loads of choices and all allergens clearly labelled. I had the small fish and chips, it was one of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. A few family members had the Sunday roast with beef, really generous portion sizes. We all had dessert which was delicious and really reasonably priced for the quality of the food. Staff were brilliant.

Wonderful place to stay our first few nights in the UK!
Pros:

Lovely historic building. Pretty view to back gardens. Comfortable king bed room with modern oversize bathtub and heated towel rack. Restaurant has tasty food, a bit spendy for the portion size. Very clean, very gracious staff. Nice walking path through the Commons to downtown and the Pantiles historic trendy shopping-dining area.

Cons:

Could use better reading lightbulbs by the bed. Bathroom fan goes on with the lights rather than separately.

FIVE STARS ***** Wonderful Sunday Roast Topside of Beef
Pros:

Visited with my husband and was such a treat. We will definitely be back. Had the most amazing Sunday Roast Topside of Beef with seasonal vegetables, roasties, huge Yorkshire pudding & red wine gravy. Everything was cooked to perfection and was so beautifully presented.
Desserts we had were Creme Brulee and the Chocolate Pot and they were yummy. Meal was outstanding and very reasonably priced. We recommend to all my friends and family. Lovely staff and restaurant.

Friendly staff, good food and a tidy room. Well worth the money.
Pros:

Clean and tidy and good value for money.

Cons:

The toilets by the reception area. Because they do not flush, the men’s urinal took your breath away. Not what you expect.
Also there was a strange reception area. It was just a random desk stuck under a sign that says reception, it works but does not portray the image of a quality hotel.
