Outstanding Hotel
Pros:

The owner and staff at this location are very attentive to guests and do everything they can to make the stay outstanding. I have stayed here for years and truly appreciate the comfort of this hotel. The owner is especially good with guest needs. The remodeling of recent times has upgraded the property. There is no other place in Spearfish that has this level of excellence and comfort across the board! The rooms are very clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet is excellent. I highly recommend it!

awful. the worst stay on our trip across the country, which was in other Hamptons (fine)

The location was fine.

Cons:

There was no wi-fi - it was being 'fixed,' we were told, which was a lie. It has probably been down for weeks, if not more. Worse, they did not tell us the wi-fi was down; one has to go down to the office to be told, since they refuse - steadfastly - to answer their office phone, even when no one is at the counter. We saw it in action. We could go on with more complaints. The owners/managers were sullen and customers were treated as annoyances, at best.

Pros:

It was super clean. The pool was great and the staff was friendly. We had a great stay for sure

Good for Families
Pros:

Wonderful family friendly hotel. Right by lots of restaurants. Clean rooms and brand new beds. Quiet restful stay. Very affordable for family of 5. Staff is friendly and helpful with where to go for dinner. Breakfast was good and kids were happy. Definitely will return.

Great Modern Hotel
Pros:

Beautifully modern Hampton Inn right off the interstate. Everything looks recently re-done. Staff was friendly and hotel was clean. Sleep was good very quiet, beds were comfortable. Price is fair we used our Hilton Honors. Love the breakfast in the morning.

Quick Stay Hilton Honors
Pros:

Quiet stay with Hilton Honors program. Fast service, good price. Located right off interstate. Clean rooms. Spacious hotel. Guest laundry and very peaceful. Will gladly stay again.

Best Hotel in Spearfish
Pros:

Flew into Rapid from NY visiting my parents in Spearfish. They told me to stay at the Hampton and my parents were right. Easy check in. The room was spotless and the bed was fantastic. The place looks remodeled and the price was still affordable. It was right in front of Wal-Mart which was good for groceries etc. Quiet and peaceful. I ate breakfast and sat with a view of the sun rise, very relaxed. 10/10 this has to be the best hotel in Spearfish and I will stay here every time I visit. Thanks Mom and Dad and also Hampton Inn Staff!

Last Minute Stay
Pros:

Traveling from Dallas to view a property in Spearfish for work. Very clean and quiet. I just stopped hear because I was too tired to tired to shop and this was located just off the exit as I entered Spearfish from Rapid City. Check in was fast. Room was large, price was fair. Hot breakfast in the morning and cozy breakfast area. Guest Laundry and express check out, I could not be happier.

Hilton Honors - Thanksgiving
Pros:

Visiting my parents for thanksgiving as they just bought a house in Spearfish. this was a good clean hotel and I am very happy with my stay. Quiet, close to wal mart and easy access to interstate. I am a Hilton Honors member and will stay here every time I visit my parents.
