Convenient location good breakfast, good sleep
It was easy to get to.
We found the staff to be not very friendly which is unusual for a Hilton property. Also, it was pretty pricey for the amenities that were available.

Location was prime for our needs.
Something was off with their overall performance as a Hampton Inn. They are renovating their facility, but the improvements didn’t feel unified.
Location was prime for our needs. Gym has Apple Fitness/Health-compatible equipment.
Second stay within a week. Second room was in better condition than the first one. Just felt like consistency was a struggle within the facility. Bedding was the concern. There were holes in some of it and some stains were visible.

Pool and Hot Tub did not work.
It’s easy on/off from the freeway. The beds were very comfortable (probably the best I’ve experienced in a hotel).
This is the 3rd hotel we have been to this summer where the pool was down for repairs. The kids were pretty disappointed. This was a little disappointing after spending almost $300 on a room.
We did find a pill on the floor in our room which is a little scary with small children.
We enjoyed a two-night stay at this very clean property. The front desk help was friendly and the free breakfast was up to our expectations.
The pool (unheated) and hot tub (closed for maintenance) were the only downside of our visit.
The parking area seemed secure and there is a WalMart nearby for resupplying.
Beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was n very clean and the soap containers were easy to use in the shower and sink.

The hot continental breakfast was completely cold on Saturday morning. But Fridays breakfast was tasty and warm.

Das Fenster ließ sich nicht öffnen. Die Klimaanlage war sehr stark und ließ sich nicht sehr herunterregeln. Duschen und Schampoo waren in der Dusche/Badewanne absolut leer.
The owner and staff at this location are very attentive to guests and do everything they can to make the stay outstanding. I have stayed here for years and truly appreciate the comfort of this hotel. The owner is especially good with guest needs. The remodeling of recent times has upgraded the property. There is no other place in Spearfish that has this level of excellence and comfort across the board! The rooms are very clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet is excellent. I highly recommend it!
The location was fine.
There was no wi-fi - it was being 'fixed,' we were told, which was a lie. It has probably been down for weeks, if not more. Worse, they did not tell us the wi-fi was down; one has to go down to the office to be told, since they refuse - steadfastly - to answer their office phone, even when no one is at the counter. We saw it in action. We could go on with more complaints. The owners/managers were sullen and customers were treated as annoyances, at best.
It was super clean. The pool was great and the staff was friendly. We had a great stay for sure
