The view

Cons:

Leaking water, sheets dirty, room smells like mold, VERY THIN WALLS, CAN HEAR GUEST FROM THE OTHER ROOM CLEAR AS DAY AND HEARING THEM MAKING OUT, SOUNDING TWO HYENAS MOANING ALL WHILE I HAVE TODDLER IN THE ROOM WITH ME

Overall a good stay would book here again.
Pros:

The location was perfect for what we were there for which was a track invitational. Plus the weather was nice so being on the beach was an added bonus

Cons:

Without us knowing there was a marathon that closed blocks around the hotel causing us to have to wait until after 2pm to be able to come back to the room

Close to beach to walk

Cons:

Bathtub had hair after it was cleaned so it was not cleaned properly, no coffee no breakfast for the price. The rooms literally need upgrading, the shampoo and conditioner was not enough, other hotels provide a full size Dove brand of shampoo and conditioner. Elevator is NOT SAFE.

I loved my stay at the Schooner Inn. Will make this my go to accommodation at Virginia Beach.
Pros:

Ocean front room with big whirlpool tub in room. Comfortable bed and very clean

Cons:

Door locked but no manual block like chain or other inner manual locking mechanism. I was disappointed that the gas grills were closed for the season even though there were posters in the elevator announcing them and mention of them in the binder. The Inn should add a statement on the posters mentioning grills are only available in season.

This hotel is a good to hotel for great vacation and relaxing it's at the very end of the boardwalk
