It wascso central to all shops and bars
We had to complain about a couple of things that were wrong in the room, and the noise coming from the disco, which went on until 3 a.m., wasn't good.
This was by far the worse so called hotel we ever stayed in, thankfully for just one night as going to rugby match. It smelled of urine, very old and run down, floors that creak, windows that let in every noise as they are so old, bathroom door bangs loudly if you don't remember to hold onto it to close quietly, totally unfriendly staff, so uninterested. Room was so hot and flooŕ seemed dirty, not to mention the loud thumping beats coming from the hotel clubs that went on to until til the early hours, with loads of very loud young ones congreting for hours outside the hotel after club finish followed by some loud undesirables up and down the streets going through bins and on one occasion nearly fighting and cursing. A rough area that didnt feel safe. Not even a decent comfortable bar to have a nice drink after the match. We left very early the next day so thankfully to get out of that place. Avoid unless you like no sleep, no comfort, dirty smelly so-called hotel!
Mi è piaciuta molto la camera, pulita ordinata e con arredi d'epoca come anche il bagno.
Avere un locale sotto all'hotel con musica alta fino a tarda notte.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, facilities clean.
I was not aware there was a night club in the hotel as well as others on the street, so it was extremely noisy until about 5.30am and I slept very poorly.
Good location
The music from nightclub, but they do provide earplugs 😂
Buena ubicación
The room was beautiful
Comfortable and clean
Very nice and spacious. Felt very homely
The baths plastic shell was flaking off a bit when in use
We stayed for one night and overall found the Russell Court Hotel perfectly adequate for a short city stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the room size was absolutely fine for an overnight visit.
It’s important to note that the hotel has an on-site nightclub, something they are very upfront about at the point of booking. It’s clearly stated that most rooms are affected by noise, and that was our experience. Earplugs are provided, and we had also brought headphones in anticipation. While there was noise, it wasn’t so disruptive that we couldn’t sleep, and we go to bed fairly early — so it was manageable.
What was more unusual was an alarm from a neighbouring business that sounded on and off for much of the night. While this obviously wasn’t directly the hotel’s fault, it did feel like something that might have been addressed or influenced, given local business relationships, and it impacted the quality of sleep more than the nightclub itself.
The bathroom was clean, but the shower was underwhelming in terms of water pressure, although the water was very warm, which was a plus. Staff were polite and professional, though not especially warm or engaging.
We didn’t eat or drink in the hotel, but the biggest positives here are the excellent central location, cleanliness, and value for money. Our stay was perfectly pleasant overall, and for a short, budget-conscious stay in the heart of Dublin, it does the job — just go in with your eyes open regarding noise.
I loved the fact that it was so central at such a reasonable price.
The convenience of location, right beside camden street. Full length mirror and comfortable beds. The room was huge and so much storage, extra pillows, plenty of towels and the staff were very polite and helpful.
The room was extremely warm - not much ventilation even with the window and curtains open for air flow.
