These hotels should not appear on this platform.
Pros:

Nothing that we liked and won’t put the basic standard like heat and hot water as “likes”

Cons:

Smell of damp won’t let you sleep.
Prison beds are probably more comfortable.
Lift was not working.
Carpet had an inch of dirt.
The room was dirty.
Furniture was at least 20-30 years old.
The room was not level, it was inclined!!
People in and out the rooms all night…not the hotel guest type people going by their phone conversations clearly heard. Did not feel safe.

Pros:

Nicely decorated room in a nice part of town

Cons:

Sea view better than out the back (although useful to have a clock.) Missed having the balcony this time.

Yet another of Folkestone let down!
Pros:

Over expensive drinks and very out dated 70's looking decor..... The good staff have long gone since they housed migrants...

We had a lovely stay
Pros:

We were coming down to Folkstone for a weding. The property was a little outdated, but it did give a lovely charme to the place, a vintage and cozy feel. The location was really good.

Cons:

The shower presure was not great, and maybe a bit pricy, but we did book last minute.

Pros:

the location is great

Cons:

I had a booking with a double bed and they overbooked the hotel, giving me a twin room instead. Their wifi was not working and the staff blamed it saying it was my apple laptop. The towels were not really clean and the stuff were not kind. I would not recommend this hotel.
