Pros:

Excellent location, friendly staff, fan in bedroom, spacious rooms.

Cons:

I'm nit-picking at this point, but the main stairwell could do with a vacuum.

Cons:

Since my last visit to the Southcliff, which was approx 15 years ago, unfortunately nothing has been renewed or renovated.
With the change of management and the housing of immigrants, the rooms and building has become very run down!!
Staff are very polite and helpful, but the overall standard is just poor.

For the price of the room the accommodation is very poor, it’s a 2* hotel really.
Pros:

Location is great.

Cons:

The hotel is very dated with rust on the balcony, tiny TV with intermittent signal, shower and carpet had hair on and in it when we arrived to the room, chipped paint on walls, strong air freshers in corridors to mask a musty smell, mismatched carpets and furnishings, low water pressure in the shower, tiny sink and bathroom with thin sliding wooden door which was very loose, bed was uncomfortable with only one pillow each. We asked for extra pillow and fan for the room and then the staff gave it us at reception for us to carry to the room!

A un passo dalla scogliera e dal centro città davvero confortevole
Pros:

Sono stati gentilissimi e mi hanno dato una camera più confortevole di quella che avevo prenotato

Clean and tidy room and a fantastic location.
Pros:

Fabulous location and near and a short walk to the beach and amenities. Comfortable bed.

Cons:

It is a bit dated but then that is reflected in the price. It has a huge reception and bar area which would be ideal for a party. If it was modernised it could have a lot more potential but as I say the price reflects the fact that you get what you pay for. It was clean and tidy and the staff were helpful. I would stay again purely because of the convenience of the location and the price.

Nice, did what it needed to for one night, wouldn’t stay for longer and would reconsider if staying again in the summer
Pros:

Nice location, friendly, helpful staff. Some of the rooms had been refurbed and were okay.

Cons:

no parking so just have to try your luck on street. 3 hours max stay outside between 8am-6pm so not ideal if you’re out for the day. Half of the rooms felt like they’d been done up in the last couple of years, the others were quite basic and run down, handles falling off cupboards, hooks hanging off the back of doors. Small fans in the room but in this heat thy didn’t do much, windows only open 3 inches (for safety) so no breeze. Room was stiflingly hot which meant not a great sleep was had

Pros:

The area was fantastic. The staff and owner very friendly.
Our room was great especially the view, our cats were calm, relaxed and comfortable staying which was a plus.

Cons:

Maybe that there wasn't breakfast included, I think that would have been even better not just for us but other people staying there would say the same thing.
