Cons:

We did not stay at the hotel for our second booking. As we walked out on our first visit. The room was very basic, broken toilet seat. Prices of wood to hold the windows open.
The carpet was very old as was the furniture.
The smell was horrific.
The area was not any better.

Nicht zu empfehlen
Pros:

Pros:

Great location - friendly staff

Cons:

It was nice to have a balcony - only drawback, the door couldn't be left open overnight for security reasons .
Also, on Saturday evening there was horrendous thumping music until 12.45 a.m. I understand there is a club in a basement nearby. Surely there is a cut-off time for this kind of thing.

We stayed in a family room with a sea view for one night. It met our needs and was clean and comfortable for our visit t
Pros:

The building is situated in a lovely spot. The view from our bedroom of the sea was wonderful.
It was nice to have a fan in the room which kept it cool throughout the night.

Cons:

There were elements of neglect to the property. Smashed windows near the entrance, which needed to be repaired.
The carpet going up the stairs to the bedrooms were dirty and had hair on every step. The en-suite in our room was ok.
An extra charge for breakfast.

Good location and value for a one-night stay before getting the morning ferry from Dover to Calais
Pros:

Great location, straightforward street parking right outside. Beds are comfortable, decent shower and reliable wi-fi. We arrived in a heatwave and the fan in the room was greatly appreciated. The twin room was good value for money.

Cons:

The floor in the bathroom slopes away to one side meaning the door won't stay closed without latching and it's difficult to maintain balance when drying after showering or shaving

Good for a one night stop over
Pros:

The location was great!
The room was dated but clean.
Front desk staff were friendly and accomodating

Cons:

It was very dated.
The furniture was very heavy, leaning forward and not attached to the wall, which is quite dangerous when staying with kids.
It was very basic and a little overpriced for what it is.

Despite the hot weather and the lack of air conditioning, our stay was enjoyable overall. The staff were friendly and he
Pros:

The views are amazing, especially in the early morning, and there are plenty of shops in the area. The staff are also very friendly, approachable

Cons:

Parking is challenging due to the restrictions and limited availability of spaces. It’s also been very hot because of the weather. Although the hotel kindly provided a fan, the room still feels quite warm.
