Pleasant staff. Aside from the smoking, it was a pleasant stay.
Pros:

Very good location. Quiet in spite of a full parking lot each night. Clean room.

Cons:

There was a chair and an ashtray for guests right outside my door. The older wooden door was not airtight and I could smell smoke in the evenings and during the night.
It would be nice if there was a designated outdoor space away from our entry doors.

Majestic Moutain Inn - July 2026
Pros:

We had a great stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. The courtyard with its trees and grass is a very lovely place to be able to access. Our dog, Abbey, had a great time sniffing and walking around there. The location is within walking distance of several good restaurants and other services - a big plus. We came across several Elk grazing in a field along the road as we walked to dinner one evening. Not something we see everyday. We will definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends who have dogs and to those who don't as well.

Cons:

We have stayed here numerous times over the years but it seems like it is becoming run down. Pool in bad shape. Carpet and tile in rooms really needs updating.

Good deal in nice area of Payson.

Location was great but so close to highways that it was very noisy. Room was okay...pool is in need of repair but worked to cook off.

Cons:

Tried to get our room serviced for 3 days but no luck. We desperately needed our garbage taken out, fresh towels, cups, sheets changed, etc. Ice machine was exceptionally far and very dark and it ran out of ice several times. The room concerns were finally discussed like 12!hours before we were checking out but some towels and cups were delivered to our room. U
