Village Haven Inn & Extended Stay

Light switches not working. Molds in the bathroom. Dirty rooms. Mattress worn out. Poorly maintained property.

We booked two rooms for a group of seven people. When we arrived at the accommodation, we were informed that only one of the two rooms from our reservation was available. We could not accept it because there was not enough space for all of us. As a result, late at night we had no choice but to book another accommodation, which cost us nearly twice as much.

Dirty disgusting oh my gosh, the only good thing about this properties. They had no bugs.

The service was bad and one of the staff was staring at me and my friend which made us uncomfortable. When we got to the room it was in horrible conditions. I have video as evidence.

The staff was not sure the room was ready an hour after checking in even though it was pre booked. Rooms should be ready at check in.

Black mold in the shower, paint pealing off both doors, cigarette burns and hair in the bedding, the room looked like it hadn't been swept in months, lack or available outlets by the TV, pool and Jacuzzi were stained and drained.

Everything there was dirty and disgusting. We had no trash can in our room for our garbage there was one towel for 3 of us that had to shower and the cockroaches came out of the light fixtures when you did shower. There were tweeters and gross people hanging out by their sess pool of nastiness. There were holes in the walls and you could tell nothing had been actually cleaned there in a really long time. The owner of this place should be ashamed.

We got there at 3:30 and the room was not cleaned yet the owner said give us about 20 minutes. Well 30 minutes later it still wasn't done. So we went to go eat and came back and hour later, it wasn't done so we got a different room. That room was so was dirty. It had dirt and hair all over both beds. We requested a king room and got a double queen cause they don't have any king beds. Both bed had dirt on the sheets and hair. Floor was dirty and had bugs on it. I will not recommend this nasty place.

It's not about like or dislike it's about what's right. It is sad to say that the property is generally run down both on the interior and exterior and the grounds badly need attending too, the pool was not open and the gazebo is rotting. The paint was peeling from the bathtub, there was mold on the wall and also on the ceiling. The Heat AC Vent had not been cleaned. There were electrical issues in the bath area specifically above the bath. Missing light bulbs. The water was hard to regulate and the hot water was so hot that my grandson was almost scorched. The windows were missing screens. The room was not cleaned properly. I think with a good deal of money to rehab the property this property would be a go-to destination for almost anyone.

False advertising! The facility didn't look anything like the pictures online! Also, the booking site said "No age restrictions" but when my 20 year old son arrived after a 2.5 hour trip, they wouldn't let him check in because he wasn't 21. The person at the desk was difficult to understand and was of no help to me or my son, just stating to call and speak to the manager in the morning.
