The required deposit is 50% at the time of booking and a further 50% deposit is required at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. The Western Hotel offers free underground Valet Car Park for all guests.
Guests checking into CityPoint Apartments are also asked to arrive for their check-in to The Western Hotel. They will be given further instructions at reception.

Room hot (July) - no air con. Room at front of hotel..so a lot of street noise..from 05.30. Breakfast very underwhelming...tinned fruit anyone? Overall I know it was high season but very poor value.
Excellent hotel ideally situated with secure parking. Food was excellent and the ambiance at the hotel was relaxed. Life music in the bar was an added bonus.

Amazing location with parking. Room was great. They have a lift. The staff were very helpful and provided a little fridge and a fan as it was very hot

The room was clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was included, which was a great bonus. There were plenty of options—you could help yourself to a continental breakfast or choose from a menu and have a freshly prepared meal served to you.
The hotel itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and spotless. The restaurant was also lovely, with a great atmosphere and excellent cleanliness.
Overall, the hotel’s location, cleanliness, and overall experience were excellent, and we would definitely recommend staying here.
For future improvement, I would like to share some feedback about the customer service experience.
While the hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and well\-maintained, we found that many of the staff members, particularly in the restaurant, were not as warm or engaging as we had expected.. Interactions were generally very brief, with little conversation, few smiles, and minimal greetings or expressions of thanks. Service was efficient, but it often felt impersonal.
The exception was the receptionist who I believe was from Canada\. She was welcoming, friendly, and made us feel genuinely valued as guests\. Her positive attitude stood out and reflected the level of hospitality we had hoped to experience throughout our stay\.
As visitors from Canada, we had expected a more personable and engaging experience, particularly given Ireland’s reputation for its warm hospitality\. A friendlier, more conversational approach from staff would make an already beautiful hotel even more memorable for guests.
We also enjoyed the live entertainment on two evenings. One night featured instrumental music, and the other featured a solo singer. While both performers were talented, we had hoped to hear some traditional Irish music, as it would have added to the authentic experience of visiting Ireland.
I like A soft carpet and a good bed ,close to the city center
In such an expensive hotel, I didn't like that there was no champagne or a glass of wine and strawberries

Nice clean place. Breakfast was very good; your choice of a hot breakfast with cold items on buffet. No frills for the room: no AC with a small window. Walkable from town centre but a little uphill.
