Pros:

This hotel is a beautifully restored hidden gem. The staff friendly & efficient.
The location is perfect for easy access to all Galway City has to offer.

Het is een rustig en goed gelegen hotel.
Pros:

Het hotel ligt dicht bij het centrum maar je kan er toch rustig slapen op goeie matrassen. De ontbijtruimte is gezellig en het ontbijt is lekker. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk.

Cons:

De onduidelijkheid over de parking. We vonden de aanbevolen parking na een paar keren rond rijden niet en mochten dan toch op de kleine parking onder het hotel parkeren.

Good location. Needs a reno. Good for families.
Pros:

Great location. Just a 5 minute walk from the heart of Galway. 7 minute walk to train station. Room was a little dated and drab, but my wife who prefers more modern and recently renovated hotels was not too impressed with the decor. But it got the job done. We had a family room with two twin beds and one double bed (since of a USA double). Worked for our family of 4. There was no air conditioning in the room. It was 40-50 degrees (F) when we were there so it didn't matter. There was a heater and you could control it with a knob. We turned it way down as we like to sleep in a cool room.

The Western Hotel is such a lovely property with an amazing location in Galway. The breakfast that was included was delicious and all staff that we encountered were so friendly and helpful.

Great hotel and service
Pros:

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and it was a delightful experience. We had stayed here previously and enjoyed the hotel but it seems had a total renovation and it was done really well. The food was really fantastic – I would recommend their restaurant in the evenings, the bar is fun and the breakfast is amazing. Everything was pretty well priced there as well. I would recommend it for a stay any time.
