This hotel works well for families with children
Pros:

Breakfast was clutch, having three boys that eat like men is expensive. All of the staff were warm and welcoming. Room was clean. Location is perfect for zoo goers.

Cons:

An elevator was not in operation for the duration of our stay so only one was working for the entire hotel. A lot of time wasted waiting or walking the stairs to the top floor where our room was.

Pros:

Loved that there’s free parking and it’s nearby places like the zoo and many restaurants. Driving downtown was easy, too. Staff were nice and we enjoyed the kickback snacks and drinks. Wish we would have tried the attached restaurant it looked good and was always busy.

Cons:

The rooms were mostly clean, but could have been a little cleaner. The window views from the inner rooms are facing other room windows, which made us keep our curtains closed the entire time.

Located near Barnes Hospital and was able to drive to appointment without interstate, that was a big plus.

I would like to wish that more attention was paid to the cleanliness of dishes.
Pros:

No fruits at all.

Cons:

At breakfast, I took three "clean" teaspoons in a row, and all three were completely dirty. I took a "clean" fork, and the same thing happened—it was dirty. I told the staff, and they said "sorry" and didn't even bother to check if there were any dirty ones among the "clean" dishes.
