Grand Hotel Hermitage & Villa Romita

We would go back for sure - the view from our balcony amazing. The food is the only negative but im also not a fan of european food. The hotel is about a 15 min ride up a winding road so be sure you aren't someone who gets car sick. But once at hotel it's truly beautiful.

One of the best views . The view of Naples Bay is incredible. Perched on the hillside gives one a wonderful view . The staff were great . They sent the shuttle for outside the schedule.would definitely recommend . The Expresso Martini at the bar is sublime.

This is a special hotel , staff can’t do enough for you . Is outside of Sorrento on hill however hotel provides shuttle bus and bus stop just outside hotel, never struggled with getting around Fantastic village sant Agata 10 minute walk from hotel bars with restaurants and Orlando must visit . . Manage to do Capri, Positano, Pompei and Sorrento all from this location . Only negative for me was bed too hard .

Staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is excellent with stunning views. The courtesy bus into Sorrento was very useful.

We stayed at the villas, the facility is very old, dont have elevator, matress and pillows are not good, rooms are very clean and breakfast is really good a lot to choose bur if you stay longer be prepared to eat the same, there is space for parking and they have shuttle to Sorrento, the staff was not so friendly but in overall is ok

The hotel dud great booking the tours, it was so easy- we did a boat tour, positano at night and Pompei

We had the most wonderful stay here and already looking forward to returning here one day. The staff was so friendly and accommodating with anything we needed. The hotel has a breathtaking view overlooking Sorrento and the bay of Naples. It is an easy walk up to Sant’ Agata, a small local town with wonderful shops and restaurants. The hotel offers an easy shuttle service down to Sorrento. Originally I was nervous booking a hotel further outside of Sorrento city center, worried getting into Sorrento may be difficult, but I am so thankful we did. I loved that we dined with locals every night in the small town rather than feeling overwhelmed by large tourist crowds. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the Sorrento area.

The hotel is spectacular – peaceful, charming, and full of character. Even though it’s a little outside town, it’s absolutely worth the visit. They provide convenient transportation, so getting around is never a problem.

A heartfelt thank you to Guillermo, the owner, for welcoming us so generously. Renato was fabulous – attentive, helpful, always with a smile. Paolo also took such great care of us. Our driver, Domenico, was professional and friendly, making every ride smooth.

A very special mention to Antonino, our waiter, whose attention and kindness made every meal unforgettable. The food was excellent! We also met Renato’s aunt, Mrs. Maria, who was so kind and welcoming, adding even more to the family atmosphere. And of course, Rafael – simply spectacular, always ready to help.

This hotel is more than a stay – it’s an experience filled with warmth, authenticity, and memories we’ll cherish forever. If you’re considering visiting, don’t hesitate. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!

Extremely friendly staff. Manager of hotel is 10 star guy! Gorgeous views and the hotel is run with true professional service. Shuttles all day long down to local retail shops. The great reviews and fair price is why I selected them. Pool was great! You will not be disappointed!

Nice hotel

We had a great stay in the Villa Romita portion of the hotel. I enjoyed walking the path lined with rosemary, lavender and olive trees down to the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and greeted us by name as we entered the hotel. Anytime we needed assistance they were able to help us and did so with a smile. The breakfast had a wide selection of options which met both mine and my husband’s needs. We definitely utilized the free shuttle bus into Sorrento which was easy to locate and schedule with the front desk. The view from the pool was incredible; the pool itself was nice and refreshing. Our room was cool after hours in the hot sun and it was always clean. We were able to enjoy a late afternoon drink on our balcony overlooking Sorrento, normally with a nice breeze. We liked the quietness of the location but enjoyed the proximity to Sorrento and its port. We would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 7 day stay at Grand Hotel Hermitage. We were met at the hotel entrance by Renato, hotel manager. He made us feel right at home. All the staff are so helpful. The room over looking the Naples Bay is amazing. Nice pool. Very good dining options. We also booked an Amalfi boat tour through the hotel. We met one couple from England that told us they have been coming this hotel 20 years in a row!

Great staff

This is a lovely hotel in a peaceful location yet minutes walk to the nearby village. Our room was always kept clean and fresh towels every day.The pool area is very nice and spotless.I hope to return again soon.
