The hotel is my favorite in Morelia. Location and security is excellent
I have stayed many times and always leave very happy. On this visit we had problems with mosquitos or something similar in our room. I brought it to the attention of the front desk and they acted like they knew nothing about it. They tried to keep insects out by putting drain covers on the shower drain but it didn't help. The public restroom by the restaurant also had covers over the drains. I was bitten while sleeping and did not get good rest for two nights.
I was so excited to stay at this amazing hotel and I was not disappointed! The attention to detail in the entire place was incredible. The service staff were so attentive and friendly. The decor was breathtaking. I felt safe and comfortable my entire stay. So happy I stayed here.
No mini fridge or coffee available. Would be nice to have USB ports.

Cleanless and great staff
El Hotel de la Soledad es el hotel más bonito de todo Morelia, no tengo ninguna duda. El staff se ecnarga de mantenerlo a la perfección y darle ese toque elegante-histórico. Las instalaciones son de primer nivel y su personal se encarga de hacerlo memorable.
Esta vez nos quedamos en un habitación hacia la calle. Si vienen tienen ventanas antiruido, estás no están bien selladas y se cuela el ruido del tráfico. Sé que es complicado colocar ventanas antiruido sin romper el estilo histórico pero creo que hay una oportunidad ahí para mejorar el comfort de los huespedes.
