Staff were great but it is clear the hotel are installing cost saving measures, which affects overall quality.
Pros:

Proximity to our event was great and the room was clean.

Cons:

The pool was very cold, the price we paid was high, the breakfast lacked any protein, there was no working ice machine but no notice to us. As we participated at an all-day all-weekend outdoor sporting event, prior notice of this would have been very much appreciated. Also, we were charged almost double our booking amount and I’ll await my credit card to balance before I call to rectify.

Cons:

Not specified it was a continental breakfast. At the checkout staff mentioned it was a continental breakfast but muffins, croissants, fresh fruits and pastries were missing. Could have been a better overall experience if it was a complete breakfast considering for the price we paid.

Frightening
Pros:

At 4:45 AM after a long day travelling and only a few hours of badly needed sleep, we were awakened by a wake up call which we had not asked for. The desk clerk had made a mistake on the room. We didn’t get properly back to sleep and faced another long trip the next day on little sleep.. The clerk did not identify himself or apologize just hung up. We were unsettled immensely having thought there was some kind of a family emergency. On checkout when we asked about it again, there were no apologies and certainly no compensation. Later on the phone another desk clerk simply said.”that sucks”. We won’t be back.

The place is falling apart!
Pros:

The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. However, the building is in poor repair. When we got on the elevator, the doors closed but we didn’t move. We were told to open doors then try again. We had to try 3 and 4 times and this seemed to be business as usual. In adjusting the window shade, it stuck, I pulled it and the chain broke.
