The whole experience was lovely, the staff, facilities, breakfast and I thoroughly enjoyed the pool and water slide.
Quiet and clean room. Comfortable beds. Love, love, love the coffee/cappuccino machine!
Woke up a bit later than expected and ran downstairs to grab some breakfast to bring back to our room however all the food was already put away and everything cleaned up even though the posted breakfast hours showed that there were still 10 minutes remaining. If breakfast is posted as being served until 10am then guests should be able to show up before to and still get food.
We asked if we could have a room by our other family members but we was told no
Unfortunately, I had surgery scheduled for the morning and was fasting, so I missed the breakfast.
I would appreciate having a night light in the bathroom as I have to get up during the night.

The pool was great and the beds were comfy.
The cable was pretty basic so nothing for kids to watch in the room in the evening.
The breakfast was excellent. The water slide was a surprise and was fun. The room was larger than expected, and looked like it had been made for three queens or three doubles, and the extra space was welcome. The location was convenient, and being on top of a hill (what isn't in Nova Scotia? 8-)) it had a good view. Check in and out were easy.
I have nothing to complain about, which is always good.
Located on a hill, the sunset from the bench in the hotel's front garden was absolutely beautiful. The woman at the front desk was kind and, when we asked to store our luggage for a few hours, she put it in a locked room for us. We didn't have a car, but within a 10-minute walk, there was a McDonald's and a drugstore, and within 30 minutes, we found a Sobey's and a small Chinese restaurant, the food was good there. There was an indoor pool, and while we didn't use it, some people seemed to be having a good time there.
The room was clean and tidy, but we found that the ironing board smells bad. When we told housekeeping, they were happy to replace it for us. After the smell was gone, we had a comfortable stay.
I also felt the accommodation was a bit overpriced.

The best part of the hotel was the front desk staff. James and his co worker were absolutely lovely.
Breakfast was disappointing. No hot food except a pancake machine and instant oatmeal. My room on the 2nd floor had an unpleasant odor and the air conditioning was really loud when it would shut off and then kick back in.
