Pros:

Excellent centre for touring Clare. Access to Dromoland Castle grounds was a great addition.

The food was lovely , gastro pub

Cons:

Noise levels in the halls , flooring needs to be changed for noise levels.
Room doors bang , need to be on slow release.

Colouring crayons for kids , in gastro pub.
Astro to be put on the crazy golf ⛳️

Gym.and pool facilities were good, pool could be a bit warmer.

WiFi quality was very poor.

The staff are the best part of the hotel.
Pros:

It was great for the kids but old fashioned in parts. Food in shannigans pub was great and the breakfast was well stocked.

Cons:

The pool was freezing, the steam room smelled of feet. Only swam the first night we arrived didn’t bother after that. Behind the TV was full of dust which struck my allergies. When we first arrived our room smelled of smoke but I will say they moved us straight away. For the price you’re paying for the original room we had wasn’t great for what we got not to mind the smoke smell.

Great stay and nice pool
Pros:

Hotel is well maintained and the suff is kind and helpful. The room, a 3 bed was large and had everything we needed.

Bathroom with shower, looked very clean. The room was cleaned every day.

The hotel is located near a Golf corse and has plenty of nature around to be explored. The pool is great, pleasant water temperature.

A bonus was the Gastro Pub with delicious food and atmosphere.

Lie had a quick one night stay and struggled with the overly loud rooms and lack of simple kindness and welcoming

Cons:

To large with no ways to enter or exit other then the front entrance. Doors all slammed very loudly when coming in and out of the rooms. Staff we slightly rude not very welcoming to the average person coming to stay.

Wish the experience had been better.

Cons:

We had two rooms, 332 and 132. I had reached out in advance bc my wife is battling breast cancer. My request for a nearby room was honored- she has very low stamina but! She also has asthma and used her rescue inhaler 7x! That’s too much if you don’t know it. We were told that the hotel was sold out and we could have swapped with our kids but there was no way she could do the almost 1 mile walk. Very disappointing and frustrating. Our room smelled so much like cigarette smoke. Very disappointed.

Doors in corridors loudly bagging closed after 11pm. Not great when your in bed before 10pm.
