The room was very comfortable and clean, the bed was spacious.
One unforgettable moment was breakfast at "Santai," which turned out to be right on the beach. It was truly beautiful. The warm welcome from the restaurant receptionist (I forget her name) and "Adit," a very active, heartfelt waiter, and his positive energy was enough to lift my spirits in the morning.
Most importantly, my son was so happy, he didn't want to leave; he felt right at home.
Sadara Resort is truly that great.
The room was dated n bathrooms had a smell especially the shower n black grout which was gross. Outdoor sitting around pool watching the seasshore was my favourite. Breakfast was lovely ,staff were friendly, loved thr little afternoon treats .
We have stayed at the Sadara for the second time and were confirmed in our first time experience: a great place to stay. With its beautifull location near the sea, the nice rooms, the friendly and helpfull staff, cleannes of the rooms and the common areas, nice pool and good food makes the Nirwana a wonderfull resort hotel. The accesss to the sea is available but the large difference in sea level during the tides makes the possibility for a swim in the sea rather limited. The pool (less suitable for small children we would say) with pool-bar however caters for this. During our stay we made use of the Hotel' restaurant but also went out for lunch- and dinner at the local nearby restaurants (of which there are a lot to choose from). The (a la carte) breakfast menu has offering for all kinds of taste and the portions are 'huge' (we could easily skip lunch). The fact that we are already including the Hotel in our next year holiday plans says it all.
Quiero agradecer a todo el Staff del Hotel En especial a Nia Yuni Ino Fina ( the best crew ever ) I will recomended of course ! Great !
A very nice laidback luxury beachfront accommodation in Nusa Dua area. Zen vibes everywhere, comfortable room, nice pool and awesome beach, nice food and beverages with afternoon tea session as well. Thank you Mba Devina for assisting me and all Sadara team for great hospitality.
This is the best resort we’ve ever stayed at in Bali and have visited Bali 15 times. The grounds, service, rooms, location, food, etc all incredible. My partner and I got engaged here. Will definitely be frequent visitors in the future.
We have just returned from the Sadara having spent 16 nights there on recommendation from a frequent visitor. I was celebrating my 60th birthday and I was truly spoiled by all the staff the whole time.
The staff on our arrival were lovely friendly and helpful, they gave us a little tour of hotel while taking our bags to the room.
The room was on second floor and traditional Bali style with huge rooms and massive comfy bed, bathroom was a little bit more modern, clean and spacious.
We had our own spacious balcony over looking the beautiful gardens.
The restaurant staff went above and beyond for us, also very friendly and calling us by name.
The chef was very accommodating he changed items on some dishes to make then gluten free for me.
I had a surprise romantic beach dinner for my birthday and it was amazing from start to finish, massive thanks to all involved in making my day special.
The house keeping staff are the best I have ever experienced in 20 years of visiting Bali.
The gardens are beautifully maintained as is the pool which was big and lots of daybeds and sun lounges, staff were happy to move sun loungers to beach if requested.
The pool bar staff were very happy and friendly even bringing our drinks before we asked because they had noted what we liked .
We were all inclusive and it was definitely worth the extra for the package.
We had massages everyday again the spa staff were amazing and made my birthday a very relaxing experience.
I can not say enough positive about this hotel, we spoke with the manager on departure (Jeffery ) he was very nice and friendly and wanted feedback back, which we gave all very positive.
Very good end to our holiday,
Enjoyed the facilities, services and food
Very friendly, super helpful staff. Accommodation was musty, but staff happily changed our rooms, used humidifier & air freshener to freshen up. Hotel would have been beautiful in its day but, some rooms tired needing TLC. Rooms were clean, bath, pool towels & toiletries provided. Breakfast was ok variety available to suit all tastes. Restaurant overlooks beach. Staff keen to improve seeking regular feedback.
Good place to stay !! Wonderful view !!!
Celebrated my wife's 70th birthday her and the service and staff were tremendous.
Breakfast was a la carte with a fruit bowl supplied, a glass of fruit juice and a cup of hot coffee.
Located right on the seaside with a couple of weddings there during our stay.
Nice, tidy, clean rooms and a comfortable bed.
We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of a touring holiday of Bali and Lombok. From the online pictures and the location of Nusa Dua we were expecting this to be our holiday’s high spot. But it wasn’t. First, the good bits. The hotel is built in a slightly traditional style, set around pleasant green gardens and small enough to feel personal. The staff were excellent, friendly and obliging. Really exceptional. On the two occasions we had cause to ask, small issues were fixed immediately and with a smile. The food was good too, the inclusive a la carte breakfast being generous enough to keep us going all day. The pool is nice enough, there are plenty of loungers, chairs and day beds, all clean and comfortable.
But ….. The hotel is located almost at the very north end of the Nusa Dua peninsular. It is absolutely not in the ‘5 star luxury enclave’ mentioned in guide books. The beach to the front of the hotel would struggle to be even average. Small, grubby and without loungers or shade. The hotel tries to keep its frontage clean but the beach and paths either side were filthy with litter, as was the water. Quite unpleasant, and we didn’t even want to paddle in the sea. There is a beachfront path and if you walk south for 10-20 minutes the beaches improve. We got the feeling that this is the wrong end of town. The beach is alive with water activities - speedboats, jetskis, bananas, parascending etc, and if you like those then it’s all close to hand. As are their noise and fumes. If you hope for a palm-fringed tropical beach with silver sand, turquoise sea and snorkelling over coral then go somewhere else. If you’re happy to blob out by a pool in pleasant gardens and make expeditions to local highlights such as Ulawatu, or you want somewhere close to the airport to chill out after or before a long flight it would be fine. The conveyor belt of weddings are quite entertaining too.
The resort was wonderful and when walking around the area, I realised that it was the only one that had a relaxed, peaceful and native tropical environment. It felt like Bali.. if that makes sense. The other resorts looked nice but were geared towards family fun or a western vibe to retire to after touring all day, etc..
The resort was clean, very well manicured and impressive. The people working there are so so so friendly and helpful. If you are enjoying the bar or restaurant, make sure to say hello to Esa. He is the man that can make it happen; such a nice guy with great stories and recommendations - with top tier professionalism, he and the rest of the team accommodated us the whole way!
We had a somewhat mixed stay at Sadara Resort. The grounds were beautifully manicured, and the view of the ocean from the sunbeds was amazing especially on a sunny day (it was raining quite a bit). Our room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was remarkable- and I could not praise it enough. It was delicious, plentiful, and there were many options. The pastries being taken round during breakfast were my favorite part. The danish was out of this world.
That said, we had specifically chosen this resort because it was not very big with hundreds of rooms. We however found it rather 'cold' for lack of better words. When we arrived the staff were abuzz preparing for a wedding that was taking place. We wanted to order dinner at the restaurant but it took several attempts to get anyone's attention. Because it was so noisy we opted to take the dinner back to our room. Fortunately the noise from the wedding did not carry to the rooms. Thinking this was over, we went to breakfast the following morning to find yet another wedding was taking place! The sea view sitting was closed off for the wedding and breakfast relocated.
Also, we had hoped to take walks on the beach, but we found that while the hotel has a sea view, there is no beach.
Perhaps it is because we had just come from a hotel in Ubud that spoilt us rotten, but Sadara took our expectations down quite a notch. While its hard to pinpoint the exact thing that made this experience feel 'cold' -we did not feel special in any way being here.
Had a lovely welcome after a very long flight. All aspects of room explained to us by lovely staff. Room was very spacious and large bathroom. Furnishings are ok. Bit tired but for the money all good. More drawers would be good as we were there for two weeks.
Bed excellent
Breakfast was superb. Huge portions which filled us up for the day. Pool beautiful and bar service great
Although there were plenty of sunbeds they are all under the trees. We love the sun so would’ve liked more beds on the lawn or beach although we did see four beach beds in the second week. The beach isn’t nice but they are constantly being cleaned and although not inviting it’s fun to watch all the water sports
We had one evening meal and one room service which were superb. Alan and his team offer excellent service in the restaurant and nothing is too much trouble
Lovely people
We had a massage in the spa which was beautiful
The staff were all wonderful especially Dewi who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable providing birthday celebrations. A great asset to the hotel
The only negative is the number of weddings. We had six and they are intrusive to other holiday makers. There is no private area for these events and the staff work tirelessly but there is no escaping them in the hotel. Nice to watch but not to listen to at night!
We weren’t sure about returning to Bali after the first week but the Balinese people, food, value for money won us over and we would return to the Sadara. Such a good location
Thank you
We had initially booked 4 nights at this hotel. When we arrived by car in late afternoon with heavy bags at the entrance, the lady att the frontdesk saw us arrive but couldn’t be bothered to send for the concierge to help with bags. We checked in and a lady took us to our room, 215. The smell of mould and humidity was very pungent as we entered the room and when voicing our concern about the smell to the lady she just said ”no, there’s no smell”. We were absolutely stunned by the answer! The lady left and we had a look at the room which was very dirty and you could see mould around ac. We went back to the frontdesk and raised our concerns about the room. They then did offer us another room and upon entering that room, 115, there were already bags in the room which they moved out. The smell was slightly less in the room but still not very clean. We where tired after a long day of travelling so decided to stay the night. When getting ready for bed we lifted up the blankets in the bed and they were dirty! Called the housekeeping and they came quickly to change sheets. At that point we decided to book another hotel but stayed this first night in Sadara. At breakfast the guest relations officer Dewia asked about the new room and we politely said that we had booked another hotel as this hotel did not live up to our expectations. Dewia, a very sweet lady, tried to make us stay by offering an upgrade and also a free dinner and spa. We told Dewia that these measures came too late and we declined the offer. Dewia was in contact with management and tried to get us a refund but we didn’t get any of our money back.
The resort is very old and rundown and there seems to be a problem with keeping up with maintenance.
The hotel did take us to our new hotel in their car which I guess was a nice gesture. Just hope they use our money they kept, for some refurbishment.
From the moment I stepped into Rituals Spa at Sadara Resort, I knew I had found something special. I ended up experiencing nine different services during my stay—and let me tell you, I was hooked from the very first treatment.
Each session felt like a carefully crafted ritual, not just a service. The therapists are intuitive, skilled, and incredibly warm - I highly recommend Ari! Whether it was a deeply relaxing massage, a soul-soothing facial, or one of their signature body treatments, every experience was infused with care, attention to detail, and a serene energy that made it feel truly sacred. I especially loved the Coconut treatment, Purification treatment, flower bath and shirodhara.
The ambiance is peaceful and grounding, with the soft sound of the ocean nearby and the gentle scent of essential oils lingering in the air. It’s the kind of place where time slows down and your whole being exhales.
As someone who travels the world and seeks out the best in wellness, Rituals Spa quickly became one of my all-time favorite finds. If you’re in Bali and craving deep restoration, beauty rituals, and soul-level care—don’t walk, run to Rituals Spa at Sadara Resort.
Could not fault the stay aside from the restaurant menu was very limited.
Perfect
My stay was perfect. Thank you for also hosting my wedding!
