Für kurze und preiswerte Aufenthalte zu empfehlen.
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt Bahnhofsnah und zentral. Kurze Laufwege in die Stadt zum Bahnhof und direkt neben der Haltestelle der Schwebebahn. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend. Das Zimmer ist einfach ausgestattet aber für Kurzaufenthalte völlig ausreichend. Sehr netter "Empfangschef".

Overall it’s too expensive for this quality and service.

Cons:

One day we were the only guests with breakfast. The hotel didn’t prepare buffet as they did all other days, they gave us some cheese, ham, butter and 4 buns. They didn’t ask what we want or if we want something else. And for such a poor breakfast they still take 28€. When my man asked what is going on, the owner screamed and argued with him. After this he still didn’t give us anything else to eat.

They didn’t clean the room even once during 4 nights of stay

The general impression is that it’s actually not a hotel, it’s some family’s house and you came to visit them.

Cons:

Trotz Zusage nicht das Gewünschte erfolgt ist. Das Wegräumen von Eisenstangen vor dem Eingang zum Zimmer und die zugesagte Möglichkeit das Gepäck noch bis zum Abend der Abreise im Hotel lassen zu können.

Durch die quitschende Brücke der Baustelle und der Siegesfeier zur Fussball-WM der Marrokaner war das Zimmer sehr laut und ich war froh, Ohrenstöpsel dabei gehabt zu haben. Den Normalzustand kann ich nicht beurteilen

A central hotel at the banks of Wupper
Pros:

Just a few hundred meters walk from the train station and literally around the corner from the Schwebebahn station (be prepared to hear some noise from the Schwebebahn if you have a room facing the Wupper). Lots of restaurants and cafes within walking distance, as well as the City-Arkade shopping mall.
They serve a good continental breakfast.

Cons:

The breakfast room can be a bit crowded if all guests choose to eat at the same time. One of the three cereal machines (the one for muesli) was a bit difficult to operate.
The size of the room was perfectly fine, but I could only find a tiny hook where my tail suit could hang freely. A few more hooks for the towels in the bathroom would also be appreciated. And the shower leaked at the handle (room 307). But apart from these minor inconveniences a very nice hotel for the money.
