Pros:

The hotel is close to teh city center and easy to reach (walking distance from the central station). The staff is friendly and ready to help

Cons:

The rooms are small and definetely not enough for a 3 stars hotel. The breakfast is very poor both in terms of quantity and quality (stale bread was served at the buffet), I stongly suggest to go elesewhere for having a much better and cheaper breakfast

Convenient and reasonably priced, but not remarkable.
Pros:

The location of Hotel Astor is very convenient for the station and the Schwebebahn and old town, though it is a bit hidden down a small side street.

Cons:

There seemed to be very intermittent staff at the front desk and I needed to call a mobile number to get someone to come to the desk to leave my luggage.

Very basic even for the price and not as described. It’s not as nice as the photos!
Pros:

Rooms were clean, with lots of hot water and easily adjustable heating. Very central location though a lot of rough sleepers close by both night and morning. Noise at night from shouting and banging doors. We went out for breakfast as the buffet looked very poor for €14. Coffee machine seemed to be coin operated so with having no kettle we couldn’t even make a hot drink. And no normal tea bags.

Cons:

The rooms were not as described - in all three rooms we had no kettle or fridge. Electric sockets in one room were hanging off the wall and looked dangerous. The hotel said they were fully booked so we could not be moved. There was rarely anyone in Reception and no-one present in authority to sort things out.

Pros:

Die Lage ist nicht zu überbieten am direkt neben der Schwebebahn.

Cons:

Bei einem 2-Tage-Aufenthalt wären 2 von den kleinen Nescafé-Portionen noch angenehmer als sowieso schon ;-)

Aside from the location next to HBF being ideal, i will never stay here again
Pros:

The heating worked

Cons:

Rooms are outdated and hygiene/cleanliness is questionable. I have bed bug bites.
Staff were rude in enforcing their check out time and forcibly entered my room after only a few minutes over the check out time demanding i leave.

Für eine Nacht ok, sehr preiswert, ist sauber, freundlich, zentraler geht es nicht.
Pros:

Sehr zentral, Personal bemüht, auch wenn es schwierig schien, das heiße Wasser zu reparieren. Man darf für den Preis keine Wunder erwarten, aber die hohen Zimmer sind freundlich. Keine Hotelkette, wirklich nette Leute.

Cons:

Ausfall von Heizung und Warmwasser am späten Abend bis zum späten Morgen, ließ sich nur teilweise beheben, das ist im Winter eher anstrengend.
