Seaview Resort Xiamen

How spacious everything is, excellent customer service, great amenities, outstanding kids play area plus kids pool, great choices of on site restaurants. Can’t fault it, probably the best hotel in Xiamen for families with young children, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay :)

Very suitable for kids. The garden pool and the playground were heaps of fun.

There were mosquitoes in the room. Place is overcrowded during breakfast. Very uncomfortable. Definitely not a 4* hotel.

Absolutely recommend this hotel! Our experience was fantastic, thanks to the welcoming staff, top-notch service, modern facilities, and the insightful tours provided by the concierge. The buffet breakfast offered a delightful array for the kids, and they had a blast in the 25-meter heated indoor pool with a vigilant lifeguard, as well as the expansive indoor playground.
What sets this hotel apart is its hidden gem – a beautifully designed and well-maintained park. Don't miss the chance to reserve a tour with the Concierge (we had Mr. Nie, he is fantastic!)to explore a variety of tropical plants, including imported and domestic cactus species. The quiet trails lead up to a mountaintop vantage point offering breathtaking views of the sea. Our tour left us in awe of the scenery and the extensive collection of trees and plants. We're already looking forward to returning soon!

The staff is very nice and helpful

It is superior hotel at the seaside. The people working there are great. Rooms are big, clean and kitchen is super. A wide variety of different styles and tastes where all is fresh.

環境很好，早餐豐富，晚上自助餐款式比較普通。

到海邊散步，很近，空氣很好。

리조트가 엄청 크고 (물론 프라이빗 공간이 많아 일반 숙박 시 이용공간은 제한적임) 야외(화원)수영장, 인피니트풀, 실내수영장 3군데 모두 관리가 잘되어 있고 특히 밤 11시까지 이용가능한 점이 아주 나이스였습니다. 야외수영자에는 유소아용 워터슬라이드가 있고 따뜻한 물이 나오는 월풀탕(?)도 있으니 참고하시구요~ 한국사람은 저희포함 두 팀? 거의 중국인들입니다. 실내키즈플레이그라운드도 있는데 엄청 깨끗하게 관리되고 있고 한국에서는 못보던 기구들도 있습니다. 해변은 바로 붙어있진 않고 5분 정도 걸어가는데 그 사이 지하도(큰 도로가 리조트와 해변 사이에 있음)를 건너니 요것도 참고하시고 해변은 꽤 넓은 모래사장이 있고 파도도 적당합니다. 단 해양스포츠는 없습니다. 리조트 숙소 내 식당은 좀 비쌌으나, 조식을 이틀 무료로 제공해준 점도 아주 나이스! 시내(중산로,샤먼대)까지는 택시로 2~30분 걸리며 25~40위안 정도 나옵니다. (19년8월기준) 결론적으로 아이들 동반으로 샤먼 오고 싶어하신 분들께는 강추드립니다!

I stayed at this hotel for a conference so did not check the beach or swimming pool but after changing my room because of the air conditioning moldy smell very common in humid locations I was happy with my stay.
Communication is challenging but service is friendly and good. I would like to thank Matt at the reception desk who helped me early in the morning and Lee with whom I communicated with a translation app.
Food however at the hotel needs improvement.

I stayed here for 3 nights in deluxe garden room . Room was very big . Clean and tub near varandah. Bathroom was big and nice. Breakfast was great. Lot of food items. Beach is very near to hotel . Service was great.

WiFi was not working on my 2 phones .

Rest was great.

This is my first time in Xiamen. Since I took the evening flight from HK, so we were staying here for four nights. We played golf in Orient (Xiamen) Golf Country Club on the first day, then have a spa in the city with free dinner.
Next day, we were going to Tianluokeng Tulou cluster already took your whole day trip from and to the city.
There was a night market closed to the hotel around 15 min by taxi and named zēng cuò ān. It looks like Taiwan style since they are very close to each other in geographic.
Another shopping area named Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. It took about 25 min by taxi from this hotel.
No matter where you take the taxi from or to the hotel, hotel personnel will write down the taxi number for you including the remainder of the tourist complain phone number for your help later. Made me feel comfortable to take a taxi anywhere in the city.

酒店環境幽美，靠近景點區，交通又方便。每位服務員素質優秀，窩心提供照顧，感到親切又熱誠，下次再到廈門必是再次選擇之最。

位置有点偏，周围没有吃东西的地方。酒店舒适，装修有点旧。整体OK

What a great hotel and Xiamen is a hidden jewel in China, which is probably why it is becoming such a popular place for Chinese people to have a holiday. Everything is 5 star and half the price of UK 5 star hotels. The restaurants in Xiamen are also excellent and certainly if you like seafood.

Xiamen is a lovely part of China, with miles of beaches and a real holiday feel. The resort is very well positioned to make the most of this. The buffet breakfast and dinner were both good, and there are other formal eating options too. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped.
