Had an amazing stay, rooms were clean and modern, the facilities were great and the staff were very helpful. Calella is our favourite destination and we will be returning next year.

This has been my second stay here visiting a friend in Calella and the only place i would stay here! Lovely hotel, very clean and bright and clean. Fantastic comfortable rooms and excellent facilities. The staff are friendly and helpful and a secial mention for Josue who was great!

Excellent hotel in a good location with exceptional staff. From receptionist, to cleaning ladies they are all very friendly and the place is spotless. We rented a 2 bedroom apartment and all the facilities were available.
Definitely will go back.

Mycket trevligt hotell! Alla i personalen var trevliga och eloge till kocken som stekte ägg och omelette på morgonen, äkta king. Lite lyhört tyvärr, så man kan bli väckt av grannar som slänger igen dörren till sina rum efter sig. Annars fanns inget annat att ”klaga” på.

This was my first solo trip abroad and what an absolute delight it was staying at the Neptuno hotel and in Calella itself.
The hotel was small and intimate, immaculately clean, relaxed and located just a short walk from the centre of lovely Calella.
The rooftop pool was the highlight, it was quiet and there were always beds available. Lovely views of the greenery in the nearby hills and over the town. Pure bliss!
I didn’t take advantage of the spa while I was there but I will definitely return to the hotel with the hope of trying the spa next time.
The food was good, cocktails delicious and not overpriced.
I would definitely recommend the hotel for solo travellers, I felt very safe and welcome in Calella. Thank you!

Overall, my stay was fine and I appreciated the location and price. However, I did want to share some feedback regarding my experience. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in my room was not working, and the only offered solution was to switch rooms at 2 AM, which was far from ideal. I brought my his issue to their attention at 8 PM. I ended up not switching due to me leaving in the AM. However, there was no mention of compensation for the inconvenience, and I ended up trying to sleep in the heat the room was 29°C (84°F) with the door open, only to be woken repeatedly by the squeaky door hinge and other guests walking by.

Frankly, the room should not have been offered to guests until the air conditioning is properly fixed. Additionally, the shower area was not properly cleaned. There was visible grime and nearly an inch of dust on the soap containers, which was disappointing.

While I understand this is a budget-friendly option, basic cleanliness and a functioning room temperature are minimum expectations. I hope you’ll consider addressing these issues and I would appreciate some form of reimbursement for the uncomfortable night.

Our experience here was really good,a lot of different food on breakfast and dinner,really nice hotel and kind people, specificaly Sule, night receptionist, we talked with them a lot, he was really kind, helpful and we had fun talking with him, also six languages he speaks with, its crazy, hope we will see him again sometime.

Calella is nice place too, beautiful beaches, and sea, perfect for relaxing and chill holidays, hope I will travel here again.

Also housekeeping ladies were nice too, kind and our room was always cleaned perfectly.

And pool on the rooftop was total banger, best chillplace ever, pool is warm and clear, a lot of beds and lounger to chill and tanning.

And Pep is good with suitcases👌 kind and helpful too, but we werent with him that lot

We had a great stay at the apartment. Everything was clean, well-equipped and in a perfect location. Josue and Pep were very nice and helpful.
Sule was especially kind and helpful. He really made us feel welcome and we appreciated his support during the whole stay.
We would definitely come back.❤️

Just returned from a wonderful week at The Neptuno. We checked in late after the restaurant was closed but had previously emailed to let them know. We expected maybe a sandwich but was treated to a 5 course cold buffet selection served by the fabulous Sunny!
Our room was compact but contained everything we needed. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean. Breakfasts and evening meals were delicious with fabulous live cooking stations. The only suggestion for improvement here is more vegetarian options please. Every single member of staff went over and above to make our stay absolutely brilliant. Thank you so very much to each and every staff member. We were very sad to leave

Jacuzzi not well maintained and also not good at sound proofing

My wife and I have been visiting Calella for many years but in 2022 our lives changed. We booked a family holiday at the Neptuno for our 3 sons and wives/partners. What a revelation from all the other hotels we had previously visited. The refurbishment of the hotel from its previous incarnation was breathtaking in both style and concept. From the open plan reception/lounge/bar area to the bedrooms and restaurant everything is first class and it’s obvious that it was done without a thought for the cost. I honestly can’t pick a fault with anything but the best part of the hotel is the staff. They are all friendly and welcoming from reception to the housekeeping who keep the hotel spotless. We have 2 stays in Calella each year and wouldn’t chose another hotel. Our children even asked to come back this year, 2024, and I can see this becoming a family tradition. All of the 3 pools are small and might not suit lively teenagers but they are safe for young children as there is none of the rowdy behaviour that is found in some other larger hotel pools. Hotel Neptuno & Spa is perfect for couples with young children, couples wanting a quieter ambience and older couples who want a quiet stay. The evening entertainment is excellent, particularly the saxophonist and flamenco guitarist. The hotel is in an excellent location for the town, the beach and bus stops on the main road. The railway station is also well within walking distance. I can give no higher accolade than to say that we have reservations for 2 holidays at the Neptuno in 2025.

I liked this place more positives than negatives...
The negative big time is tea and coffee...yes there are facilities to make one or two but coffee and sugar sachets was like gold dust and taken away after dinner...my biggest groan...the room was very cute...the bed was good and the light sensor in the toilet was a bit off putting as was the misted glass in the toilet...I love my wife but there are private times in the toilet....helpful staff and a nice vibe

What a place! This a lovely, stylish boutique hotel. We absolutely loved it here, stayed as a group of friends. The rooms were clean & modern with a good, powerful shower.
The breakfast was great, lots of choice, bar staff friendly & drink prices so reasonable. We also had a nice lunch at the hotel, portions were huge & service excellent.
Pool areas are quite small but there was never a problem getting a lounger or chair.
On the Saturday evening there was a saxophone player and he was fabulous, very talented & so friendly.
Honestly, I can’t fault a thing about this place, we are definitely booking again to come next year, adored Calella & wonderful hotel

Very nice hotel. Clean, modern and central to everything.
Our room was fine although we didn't realize the bathroom light is on a sensor on our first night, spent a while trying all the light switches to turn off. The sink unit was in the room rather than in the bathroom. Found this a bit of a nuisance as you had nowhere to store products to use when finished showering.
We were B&B and found the breakfast acceptable. Usual cereal, fruit, omelettes etc..
All in all, would recommend Neptuno if you're ever in Calella.

I would just like to make people aware that when booking the hotel if you choose a studio room that this may not be within the hotel but two buildings away. This building is extremely dated and it seems to be staff accommodation. The room we were given was very dated, a spiral staircase to gain access, old bed linen and decoration. We called reception to straight away to voice our concerns and were offered an upgrade at an extra cost.
On the second night we had torrential rain and the terrace flooded causing water to seep through all of the windows. A maintenance guy attended as the below apartment was reporting water soaking through their ceiling. The maintenance guy removed a cover from the drain on the terrace and left. We were left mopping up water from the entire ‘studio’. After five days we asked why our bed linen had not been changed. We were told studios were not entitled to a bed change. Again this was not something we were made aware of. The studio was not cleaned in a week, again something that we were not entitled to. We had to empty our own rubbish and dispose of it. We did get use of the hotel facilities but chose not to as we didn’t feel that we were part of the hotel. We did go for breakfast each morning which was ok. The hotel itself is very nice and being a regular visitor to Calella we had spotted this hotel on a recent visit. The great exterior and glowing reviews unfortunately did not live up to our expectations.
The hotel is located in a brilliant position. So close to the shops and beach. Staff were pleasant.
This felt very much like a self catering holiday and I would advise anyone looking for a hotel break to book for a room or suite.

- Manque d’un étendoir ou terrasse pour sécher les serviettes (chambre 102). Les femmes de ménages qui nettoient à partir de 7h30 dans un boucan pas possible, adieu la grasse matinée… L’eau du dîner servie et payante (2,80€ le litre) alors qu’il vient du robinet, très moyen !

Nice small hotel. Evening meal was perfect. Food made freshly. The salmon was really good.

Friendly and helpful staff at the hotel

Liked the modern appearance and style, and the restaurant and bar facilities. However the hotel lacks a decent size swimming pool. I feel that the hotel room was not up to the standard of a four star hotel as the wardrobe had no door, and only 6 clothes hangers on the rail and most importantly no drawers at all for the storage of clothes. I dont expect to be living out of a suitcase in a four star. But the bed and aircon were excellent
