Hotel Atlantic El Tope

Het hotel is netjes, groot, ruim en schoon. Personeel is vriendelijk. Het ontbijt is fantastisch! We hadden Teide view geboekt en daardoor gedurende de dag (wanneer die scheen) zon op ons balkon. De rooftopbar met jacuzzi's zijn een ware aanwinst. Fantastisch uitzicht over de stad en de berg.

Je wandelt zo puerto de la cruz in.

Neue Swimmingpools und der Liegebereich sind sehr schön. Das Essen ist sehr gut, und es gibt wirklich alles. Der Speisesaal ist groß, damit kein Stress beim Essen-holen vom Buffet und bei der Tischwahl. Die Aussicht vom 4. Stock ist toll, empfehlemswert ist auch die Bar am Dach. In 10 Minuten ist zufuß im Zentrum, was in der Faschingszeit - vorallem beim Heimgehen - von Vorteil war...

Das 6.stöckige 4 Sterne Hotel wird seit längerer Zeit umgebaut. Der neue Kinderbereich und Infinitiv Pool ist fertiggestellt und erfreut Familien. Die Rooftop-Terasse mit Yacuzzi-Pool, bequemen Liegen und Sitzelementen lädt zum Verweilen ein- wunderschöner 360° Panoramablick inklusive.
Im Hotel wird gerade die komplette 3.Etage
renoviert. Baulärm lässt sich dadurch nicht vermeiden.
Die schon neu gestalteten Zimmer 1.+2. Stock sehen mit dem breiten Betten, der bequemen Couch, Tisch, Stuhl und dem großen Fernseher, der in eine Holzvertäfelung eingebaut ist sehr schön aus. Der Spiegel, zwischen Bett und Terrassentüre, wäre in der Nähe des Zimmereinganges praktikabler angebracht.
Die indirekte Beleuchtung mit 4 verschiedenen Beleuchtungselementen ist sehr angenehm. Es lassen sich allerdings nur alle Lampen zusammen ein- bzw. ausschalten. Am Balkon ist zwar eine Lampe angebracht, es gibt aber keinen Lichtschalter dafür.
Das neugestaltete Badezimmer mit der Glasschiebetüre und einem Lichtfenster zum Schlafbereich sieht sehr schick und modern aus. Jedoch gibt es verschiedene Punkte die verbessert werden könnten. Der runde, breite Duschkopf ist sehr angenehm. Leider gibt es in der Dusche aber keine Anlagemöglichkeit für Duschgel/Shampoo. Die Umrandung des Waschbecken mit 2 Wasserhähnen (kein Einhandmischer) wird oft nass. Ein Handtuchhalter für 2 Gesichtshandtücher ist zu wenig.
Kühlschrank und ein Wasserkocher sind vorhanden. Tresor kann gegen Gebühr benutzt werden.
Eine absolute Katastrophe sind die Ablagemöglichkeiten im offenen Regal für Wäsche. Es gibt nur in 1,70m Höhe 3 Ablagefächer. Ansonsten sind die 2x1m breiten Regale für Kleidung zum Hängen gedacht (aber es sind nur wenige Kleiderbügel vorhanden). Hier wären mehrere Regalböden und Schubladen im Interesse aller Hotelgäste!
Der WLAN-Empfang auf dem Zimmer ist sehr schlecht. Das ist sehr schade.
Die Lobby ist sehr gemütlich mit bequemen Couches und Sesseln eingerichtet.

Piękny hotel, dużo miejsc gdzie można usiąść z kawą czy drinkiem. Super bar na dachu. Ładny pokój, który był codziennie sprzątany. Pyszne jedzenie i na prawdę duży wybór. Sympatyczna, pomocna obsługa.

צוות נהדר. ארוחת בוקר וערב מעולות. מיקום מצויין.

Moan moan moan, all the boring so called "reviewers" leaving bad reviews. Hahaha, you're here in winter, you paid half the summer price, you should know that the Spanish renovate their hotels at this time of year. Ahhhhhh diddummmmms, was it a bit noisy for you.

Staff lovely, food fine, drinks cheap and fine, accommodation very nice, especially in the recently renovated rooms.

Overall, fabulous value for money, unless you're a boring, moaning imbecile.

I was quite apprehensive going to the El Tope as I had read so many bad reviews. I knew as a solo traveller going with TUI I would probably be in a basement room which are talked about with horror by some reviewers. I was in 005 a basement room and I really liked it, felt very safe and had a fantastic panoramic view over the town centre and sea, the window was huge and the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. I felt very well looked after with lots of changes of towels etc and the bed was very comfortable. I slept very well every night.
The staff were all very professional and friendly. In the dining room I never had to wait more than a few minutes for the waiter to take my drinks order. There is no cash everything gets charged to your room and my bar bill at the end of the holiday was a very reasonable £85 that included a wine and water every night and some drinks at the bar. The entertainment wasn’t the best but I was quite happy sitting after dinner with a cocktail reading a book and listening to whatever was on.
Location wise its half way between everything a quick 2 minute walk down around 120 steps or a 5 minute walk downhill. Coming back there are plenty stops on the steps going up or the hill isn’t too bad if you are fully mobile. A taxi was around 8 euros including a 2 euro tip from Plaza El Charco and there is a big supermarket right beside the taxi rank which is very reasonable. If you want night life there is some good places to go Tasca Minguis, Molly Malones, the quiz at the Robin Hood and to watch football etc The Beehive as well as some fantastic eateries all over the town. The Martianez shopping centre at the bottom of the steps has some great shopping and a big supermarket and there is a small supermarket right next to the hotel. It is very well located with fantastic views and the roof top bar has amazing views and lovely cocktails.
Best of all for me in the hotel was the food. The dining room had a lovely ambiance and the food selection was outstanding. I don’t know why so many reviews said the food wasn’t good, in my opinion it was amazing. Breakfast has a huge selection of everything and at night the evening meal was fab. Brilliant salad selection, lots of veg, a roast every day, lots of different main courses to choose from and all the desserts were yummy. So please don’t be put off by the reviews. Next time I visit PDLC I will definitely be staying here again.

Absolutely Dire, pneumatic drills going, said there maybe some minor work going on. !!! Noise in room horrendous, even by pool area. Said it will go on for the remainder of our stay. Staff not interested. Food poor, service poor. St great expense to ourselves we are changing hotels. Jet 2 said they'd meet with us. Can't see what they can do. Only after we booked did a prompter come up to say there might be some work going on. Very disappointed.
