Nice hotel, well decorated and well equipped.
Pros:

The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. The swimming pool is large, with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. The gym is well equipped.

Cons:

The hotel in not exactly in the town center. The swimming pool could be deeper.

We will stay here again on our next visit. So glad our cousin recommended this hotel.
Pros:

The location was great for us visiting relations in the area. We were surprised at how reasonable the restaurant prices were for dinner. We took advantage of the indoor swimming pool on two occasions.

Cons:

I would have liked a little more variety for breakfast.

Pros:

Very pleasant staff especially at Reception and serving at breakfast. Room cleaning staff do a great job.. the room was spotless. The room was a very good size. It was warm, bright and quiet. Large bathroom with excellent shower. Never had to wait long for the lift.

Cons:

Many lockers in the swimming pool changing room were not clean and/or had not been cleared out. The parking area is a bit grim.

Pros:

The girls on Friday 24th were excellent they went above the expectations and were fun. The guy on evening shift in bar was class and the night porter tall guy bread went above and beyond. These 3 were class. Comfy beds clean and warm

Cons:

People at breakfast wearing same gloves for check in then clearing and then the food all in same gloves. And a hot breakfast be nice buffet breakfast does be cold

Pros:

Thank you so much to the management and staff of The Shearwater Hotel for making out stay so enjoyable. The staff are just so attentive and hardworking. Nothing was too much trouble. We had the best evening and the food was delicious. Looking forward to our next visit!
