Apart from minor issues this is a lovely hotel, especially for families!
Pros:

Easy to get to. Large. Good sized rooms with own thermostats which is ideal! Speciality coffees available at breakfast which is brilliant! Kids could wear armbands in the pool which was lovely! No sound heard from other rooms. Bathroom done to a high standard! All staff really pleasant. Room service was quick. Beds and pillows clean and comfy!

Cons:

Breakfast took time to be replenished, no rashers and eggs available both mornings. Would have loved pancakes for the kids at breakfast. Mouldy fruit found in the fruit bowl at breakfast. Doors into rooms really creaky, opening it and night woke up everyone. Only one staff member seemed to be around at dinner, she was very nice but very busy so it took longer than necessary. The food in the resturaunt was nice but not great quality, eg the rib eye was cooked perfectly but the cut itself was very poor as rib eyes go. Condoles in kids game room not working so nothing there for older kids who don’t want to colour. There is nothing really in the ballinasloe area so more could be done for the older ones who don’t want to play with Batman or dolls.

Excellent
Pros:

A group of us stayed here last night. Rooms are nice, comfortable & amazingly quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Brilliant reception area for sitting around after dinner and chatting/having a drink. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Leisure centre great too.

Amazing staff
Pros:

I wanted to start off by saying that the staff in this hotel deserve a raise because of their manners and professionalism, I could not get over the high level of service in this hotel especially from Feilpe in the restaurant who made my boyfriend and myself feel so special for our anniversary , he such a credit to your hotel , the manager in the grey jacket i unfortunately couldn’t remember his name was such a lovely host. Jacinta at the front desk was very polite and lovely to talk to and is suited perfectly to her role in front of house with guests , Karen and Aishling on the phones were very polite and helpful on the phones when it came to helping me and make my reservation, you all deserve the credit you deserve and should be very proud of yourselfs

Stayed for the Eagle s tribute band..brilliant night. Had bar food before concert which was beautiful . Rooms spotless breakfast lovely and all the Staff were very professional..highly recommended
