Pros:

The room was old. Everything was extremely worn out, it was like sleeping in a thrift store. The bed was hard, the pillows were completely flat. The bathroom floor was very dirty and showed it had not been cleaned.

Pros:

Overall they stay was good. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Location worked for us and our plans. Service in the bar on Saturday night was very slow (and it wasn’t that busy). Service at breakfast was also not great. I think it was just that the staff are inexperienced. We enjoyed the stay overall.

Pros:

Everything was fantastic. Staff were helpful and really nice and patient with an American abroad. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the food was excellent. Of course the Guinness flowed. Tram station is an easy walk, and it takes you right to the heart of the Dublin. Such a wonderful time for my wife and I.

Pros:

Hotel was a perfect distance outside the busy city and close to a tram station. Great rooms, and the hotel bar and restaurant was perfect.

Pros:

Beds were pretty hard and uncomfortable. It’s also a bit of a pain to bring your luggage to your room on the carpeted floor when there are multiple fire doors to open on the way in the hall.

Pros:

Very accommodating staff, but know that the hotel is a brisk 15 minute walk from public transportation, then another 20-30 minute ride to city center. Rooms felt 10 years out of date and the bed was super firm (not in a good way)

Pros:

I only stayed here for one night, and that was more than enough. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on – the mattress felt cheap and worn out. The bathroom was in terrible condition: dirty, the toilet button almost impossible to press, the sink cracked, and broken tiles on the floor sharp enough that my partner actually cut her foot.
This hotel being advertised as 4 stars is misleading – I honestly don’t know how it earned that rating. At best it feels neglected and poorly maintained. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to anyone until some serious renovations and cleaning are done.

Pros:

We loved it. It was a great place to stay after traveling. My only con is that we were told we could walk to the hotel from the Red Cow Laus drop-off rail and bus. No, it's across the highway -- impossible to walk it especially near night. So, we had to pay a taxi from the rail line to the hotel twice. But, once we got there, it was nice!

A solid overnight stay for work.
Pros:

Stayed here plenty of times as it's a convenient location for business trips.
Rooms are a bit dated (standard double room) with varnishes wearing off here and there and the shower being the oddest arrangement (due to hidden tank/plumbing).
Staff are pleasant and service is up to scratch. Breakfast is accommodating and they have an endless filter coffee station, so that makes my morning.
Will continue to stay here when it's practical.
