Svært hard seng.
Fint läge i Riga centrum. Nära till allt.
Fair breakfast, good room, really good shower. Handy for airport bus.
Excellent location right at the entrance to Riga's Old Town, only a 5-minute walk from the central bus station and about 2 minutes from the airport bus stop.
The reception staff spoke excellent English and were professional, efficient, and well organized throughout my stay. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. While the interaction could have been a little warmer, I cannot fault their professionalism or attitude.
I stayed in two different room categories. The first room was outstanding: spacious, very quiet, on a higher floor with a pleasant street view, a comfortable bed, a small sofa, and even an iron. The sound insulation from outside was excellent. Although trams run directly in front of the hotel, I could not hear any street noise. The double-glazed windows can also be opened slightly for fresh air, which I really appreciated. The room was equipped with modern air conditioning and had no unpleasant smells or artificial air fresheners—it simply felt clean and fresh.
Cleanliness throughout the hotel was excellent.
Breakfast exceeded my expectations, with a wide selection of cheeses, cold cuts, vegetables, yogurt, fresh fruit, eggs, bread, pastries, and desserts. The coffee machine used freshly ground coffee beans rather than instant coffee, which was a big plus. The breakfast area was spacious, and the staff were attentive, professional, and well trained.
Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money, and I would definitely stay here again.
For my second night, I had to move to a room overlooking the interior atrium because my original room was no longer available. While the room itself was comfortable, the sound insulation between rooms was noticeably weaker. I could clearly hear neighboring guests talking and laughing through the walls. If possible, I would recommend requesting a room facing the street, as my experience there was significantly quieter.
Near tourist spots.
