Strikte Anti-Fahrrad-Politik, sehr unfreundliche Managerin, schlimmster Hotelaufenthalt aller Zeiten

Das Hotel liegt zentral in der Altstadt und es handelt sich um einen sehenswerten Altbau mit spektakulärer Lobby. Das Frühstück war gut.

Cons:

Ich hatte ein hochwertiges Fahrrad dabei und habe bei der Ankunft an der Rezeption nachgefragt, ob es eine Möglichkeit zur Unterstellung gibt. Mir wurde mitgeteilt, dass hierfür keine Möglichkeiten bestehen. Da mir keine Alternative genannt wurde, habe ich das Fahrrad vorübergehend im Hotelzimmer untergebracht, das ausreichend groß war.
Nach einem Aufenthalt außerhalb des Hotels wurde mir bei der Rückkehr gesagt, dass Fahrräder auf den Zimmern nicht erlaubt seien und ich das Fahrrad entfernen müsse. Auf meine Nachfrage, wo ich es stattdessen abstellen könne, wurden mir erneut keine Alternativen angeboten.
Im Anschluss wurde ich telefonisch mit der Hotelmanagerin verbunden. Diese wies darauf hin, dass Fahrräder in historischen Gebäuden nicht erlaubt seien, und nannte eine mögliche Vertragsstrafe von 500 €, falls das Fahrrad nicht entfernt werde. Zusätzlich erwähnte sie, dass bei Verstößen hohe Bußgelder drohen könnten. Ich erklärte, dass ich das Fahrrad entfernen werde, äußerte jedoch Unzufriedenheit über die fehlende Unterstützung. Das Telefongespräch dauerte mehrere Minuten und wurde trotz meiner Bitte nicht beendet. Ich entfernt anschließend das Fahrrad aus dem Hotel.
Nach diesem Vorfall kontaktierte mich die Managerin erneut über Booking und wiederholte die Androhung einer Vertragsstrafe. Zudem bat sie um meine persönlichen Daten mit dem Hinweis, ihre Rechtsabteilung einzuschalten und die Angelegenheit weiter besprechen zu wollen. Ich teilte ihr daraufhin mit, dass ich kein weiteres Gespräch wünsche.
Der Vorfall führte zu einer deutlichen Beeinträchtigung unseres Aufenthalts. Wir haben uns am nächsten Morgen frühzeitig entschlossen abzureisen, um weiteren Diskussionen aus dem Weg zu gehen.

Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für eine Städtereise nach Bratislava
Pros:

Die Lage in der Altstadt ist hervorragend! Das Zimmer eher wie eine kleine Wohnung, als ein übliches Hotelzimmer. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Leckeres und großes Frühstücksangebot. Parkhaus direkt nebenan, jedoch sehr teuer!

Pros:

The ambiance of the entire hotel was jaw dropping from the minute you walk up to every corner of the room. My Wife and I were blown away by the beauty, especially of the breakfast area (as well as the food). The staff were very accommodating to our every ask, the man who works the front door at night I believe his name was Jacques, made the hotel have a comforting feel. Location was basically center of old town; we were walking distance from all the cool spots.

In der Altstadt und trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Gelungene Kombination von Denkmalschutz und Moderne. Schönes Zimmer mit viel Stauraum und gemütlich eingerichtet. Freundliche Mitarbeitende, nicht aufdringlich, aber stets verfügbar. Schönes Frühstücksbuffet, auch mit lokalen Spezialitäten.

A beautiful hotel in a central but peaceful area of the Old Town
Pros:

Huge room with a sitting room, desk and separate bedroom area. It had a shower and a separate bath tub. Beautiful historic building with smartly designed features.

Cons:

The central atrium is lit up at night so a blackout curtain would help light sleepers.

Pros:

Hotel location was great - in the heart of Old Town. Excellent and very friendly staff! The breakfast was superb (vast selection and very well organized).

Cons:

Carpets in the room and the tub/shower didn’t have a full glass cover so water would splash a little bit on the floor, but it was manageable.

5 night stay in Bratislava boutique hotel
Pros:

The location was excellent, just at the edge of the old town. Our room was built over 2 levels into the attic and had views of the castle and church towers

Cons:

No evening food but that's OK as there are lots of great restaurants nearby
