Great location. Quiet room and so comfortable. Lovely view at breakfast.
Coffee machine leaked. No tea bags.
It was well decorated and clean
Staff were rude and unhelpful
Easy check in, Maria was very helpful
Beautiful hotel , lovely staff couldn't fault them .
My daughter and myself "mum" sat down for lunch and could see straight across the water the dome , which was where we were going that evening.
The only thing that bothered me a bit was I paid another £ 50 on top of bill to check in earlier as we were coming from brighton & needed to be at the dome at 5 o'clock there was only enough sugar & milk for 2 cups of tea each oh & one drinking chocolate in 24hrs . We didn't get back to late from the O2 & fancied a nightcap before going to bed, but the bar was closed.
Next morning we both went down for breakfast & it was all self service we both have disabilities and use walking sticks so it did take a bit of time going back & forth & although there was staff around they didn't ask if we would like any help , which was a bit disappointing as I was taking my daughters as well.
free upgrade from the superior room we originally booked to what i believe was a premium king deluxe room. really friendly, welcoming and polite staff and check-in was quick and easy. the room was much bigger than expected, modern and really clean with a huge and very comfortable king size bed. the bathroom was lovely with a big bath and walk-in overhead shower. bath salts, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash and body wash were provided too. there were loads of useful amenities including a nespresso machine, kettle, teas, milk, hot chocolate, mini fridge, tv and sofa. there was also plenty of storage space, slippers, water and little biscuits which was a nice touch. we had a great view over canary wharf and the city from the 7th floor. the air con worked really well and you could open the windows too. free wifi worked perfectly, the lifts were quick and easy and we liked the security of needing your room key to access the floors. the location was great for the o2 as it was only one quick tube journey away. canary wharf itself felt clean, secure and was nice to walk around. there was also an ice machine available on the floor.
it’s a bit of a walk from canary wharf underground station, although it is a pleasant walk. you could hear people talking if they were directly outside the room and it would’ve been handy to have a plug socket on the other side of the bed but none of this bothered us.
Staff were friendly and helpful, easy access to amenities. Room was a lovely size. Really enjoyed the in room dining and the food was amazing
Cleaning in the room could have been a little better, loads of hair on the floor and some surfaces weren't very clean. The bed was to hard so found it difficult to sleep also didn't help that we constantly heard doors slamming throughout the night
Lovely and clean, nice room and breakfast
It’s easy if Canary Wharf so a 15 min walk from the tube and central area
Spacious
The tv in the bathroom wasn’t working
You did not explain that you are the other side of the Thames
