Relaxing stay with beautiful river view and bath
Pros:

We paid extra for premium room with a river view and it was beautiful. The bath was also great! Breakfast was tasty and fresh - good selection and really good scrambled eggs which almost never happens at a breakfast buffet!! Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a problem with the tv in our room and someone came to fix it within 5 mins. A nice Nuna cot was provided for our baby free of charge and we had a really relaxing stay!

Cons:

Room was overall clean but there were some areas around the sink in the bathroom that had been missed and some greasy handprints on the windows which showed up because of the sunshine - it had been very grey in the days before we stayed so was probably difficult to see them when cleaning. We probably wouldn’t have noticed them in another room but we were looking out of the window a lot because the view was great. Would have been nice if parking was a bit cheaper (£30 for 24hrs)

Dreadfully uncomfortable mattress caused lack of sleep
Pros:

Great location and good sized suite

Cons:

The main bed mattress was dreadfully uncomfortable. It’s past its life and should have been thrown out. We actually double checked that there was a mattress on the bed. The reception staff said oh dear but did nothing. We didn’t sleep it was so uncomfortable and my back and shoulder have been sore all week. It ruined Monday as I was so tired I couldn’t enjoy our day trip in London.

Cons:

The bar prices and service were not good value. Paid £24.75 for a pint of Peroni and a gin and tonic and the woman serving me seemed to be very inexperienced, got distracted by some other customer as she was half way through serving me. For that price, which is way above what it should be, I expect immaculate service.
