Great value for money stay
Pros:

Large comfortable room (we had a junior suite), good location, friendly staff, great value for money

Cons:

Not a problem for us, but if you are a light sleeper you will likely be woken by first call to prayers very early in the morning from the mosque next door.

Pros:

The hotel is located in the city center. It’s a bit old, but overall it’s a typical 3-star hotel by Borneo standards.

Cons:

The bathroom looked very old and outdated. Unfortunately, the breakfast was not good. I’ve never had bad noodles in Malaysia before, but somehow they managed to make them tasteless, and everything at breakfast was cold

VALUE FOR MONEY AND A GREAT LOCATION
Pros:

Pretty good room for the price.
I was on the 8th floor and had an amazing view across the town and the bay.
The hotel is in a great location making it simple to visit the local sights.

Cons:

The room did not get serviced after the first night, had a word to Reception and it was serviced for the following night.
Breakfast was abysmal and cost MYR25/£5.00.

Pros:

This hotel is close to the centre of town.
Currently undergoing refurbishment.
Breakfast was okay but could have a lot more choice.

Cons:

Rooms definitely in need of an upgrade. We had a problem with the toilet leaking but reception sent a maintenance worker quickly.
