Hotel mit Retro-Chic, das seine Grand Hotel-Zeiten (leider) hinter sich hat. Das hat uns nicht weiter gestört, denn unser Zimmer war wirklich ok. Und die Lage ist eh kaum zu toppen! Die Parksituation wurde durch die Mitarbeiter effizient gelöst. Fragt sich nur, wie sie das in der Hauptsaison machen. Als Tip: Man wähle im Navi ein Ziel in der 'Via Roma' und fährt dann die Einbahnstrasse weiter bis zum Hotel. Ansonsten führt einem das Navi whs. quer durchs Chaos und die verbotene ZTL-Zone.
Entgegen verschiedener Aussagen empfanden wir das Früstück durchaus als gut. Man sollte vielleicht nicht gerade dann aufkreuzen, wenn alle anderen auch frühstücken wollen...

Blev mycket positivt överraskad. Det var att fint boende med fantastisk utsikt mot Etna. Balkongen var ljuvlig. Frukosten var helt okej. Synd att man inte kan sitta utomhus. Pool och poolområdet var trevligt och lugnt. Underbart att kunna parkera enkelt på hotellet. Vänlig och tjänstvillig personal.

Location panoramic views got to be best hotel for this !
Pros:

Location and the best views from balcony to panoramic views at breakfast great restaurants shops all within walking distance
Staff were friendly everything you needed
Great pool nothing not to like about this hotel would recommend

Cons:

Would have been great if tea coffee kettle in rooms just to sit first thing and admire the spectacular view of Mt Etna and the beautiful Taormina

Traumhafte Aussicht auf den Etna und das Meer
Pros:

Das Hotel verstrahlt "shabby chic" und hat noch die Patina alter Zeiten mit tollen Fotos, Jugendstil-Elementen und Eleganz. Die Lage und Aussicht ist genial und die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Beim Frühstück gab es schlicht viel zu wenig Personal, um sicherzustellen, dass die Tische abgeräumt und gereinigt werden (2 Personen für zwei Räume mit über 20 Tischen mit bis zu 5 Personen pro Tisch und das ganze Buffet nachfüllen). Wenn man eher spät kommt, dann muss man erst mal selber einen Tisch abräumen. Und der "Automatenkaffee" ist grauenhaft, allerdings kann man "richtigen" Kaffee bestellen (wenn das Personal gerade nicht am herumwuseln ist, weil so viel zu tun ist). Und die Matratzen sind so durchgelegen, dass man meinen könnte, die stammen noch aus der "guten alten Zeit".

Pros:

Very good hotel, lovely amazing view of the sea and Etna.
Close to the city centre and near the Municipal Park. Rooms are very clean. The beds were really comfortable . Staff are always helpful .

Beautiful room with terrace.

Cons:

Parking was tight and cars had to be moved by attendants multiple times during our stay. Appears car was damaged when they moved it. Did not complain since its a rental and covered under insurance. If it was my personal car, I would have been irritated.
