Our room specifically was basic and dark with one window with no natural light. Our fault for booking that room though
It was a brilliant stay in a wonderful Hotel. The hotel is newly renovated and has a great location right on the seafront, with a private beach and parking, just a five-minute walk from the funicular that goes to the city center.
I'd especially like to mention the all hotel staff ❤️ friendly, young, and always ready to help, and they booked us from the best restaurants in town. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in Taormina!

La Plage is an exceptional resort. We were welcomed by an upgrade of our room, which was a sea view room with a nice terrace, comfortable bed and exceptionally clean room. The staff are very welcoming and no issue seems to be a problem for them. Parking facilities are good and quite spacious for Isola Bella. Breakfast is served in the restaurant and terrace overlooking the sea. The beach is within the resort's facilities. One of the best resorts we have been to and will definitely be back.
some extra items at breakfast such as omlettes, french toast etc need to be paid for, maybe they can be included in the price.
