Comfortable, quiet room with minor issues
Pros:

The location is fine. The best aspects of the hotel are the appearance and the quietness of the rooms. The walls and doors and windows must be thick because one can rarely hear anything from other rooms, not even from rooms that are above. The hotel is often sold out when we stay, so there ARE other people around. The beds are comfortable and we always get a good night's sleep. This is in contrast with other places where we have stayed. We had a double bed room vs. one with a bed and a sofa. The chairs are comfortable and there are more than one, along with a desk. There are sufficient outlets for plugging in devices. It is helpful to have two sinks; one inside the bathroom and one in the entry for making coffee, tea, or whatever. We don't watch TV so we can't say anything about that. The breakfast was adequate. We plan to stay here again the next time we visit.

Cons:

Some changes have been made over the years. I miss having a fan control that is separate from the light for the bathroom. In fact, there is no fan control. The refrigerator is very quiet, but no longer has a small freezer area where my blue ice can be refrozen. There was no longer any free Kleenex tissue, but fortunately we had some in the car. The most glaring issue was the stains on the carpeting. Some looked as though they were from food, others from ink? The room had been vacuumed and cleaned, but they definitely need to do some spot cleaning. We overlooked this because of all the other good aspects of the room.

Pros:

Location and price were both good

Cons:

Shower did not work properly, we let the front desk know and she stated she would have it repaired when housekeeping went in. Room was not cleaned the entire stay Friday to Monday. They do not have staff available to clean rooms except Monday, Wednesday and Friday so if you stay over the weekend no maid service.
