Breakfast was cooked early for me. As early departure.
Great location, very friendly staff, very clean. Bar meal excellent and very affordable
Doors slamming
We really enjoyed the bar and met both locals (Billy) and visitors. It was a lovely conversation and the girl doing both bar and reception on the night was really nice.
Unfortunately the kitchen was closed on the day that we arrived. We never got to try the food which I believe from others is lovely.
Good location on Main Street with parking at the rear great for motorcycles Room clean
Food and drinks were good with reasonable prices
Room basic but clean and had tea coffee etc
Creaky floors can be noisy
Very welcoming, friendly staff. Wide selection of items for cooked breakfast, available all day. Good value meals on the evening menu.
Our room overlooked the High Street which was surprisingly busy in the early morning.
The room was clean and bright, with plenty of charging points. The shower was noisy but strong and good and hot! The lady on reception was helpful. We were room only, this time, but the breakfast options looked very flexible and interesting. Grantown on Spey is an interesting stay set in lovely countryside.
A modesty net curtain would have been helpful at the window. Bikers travel light and getting changed in front of a picture window to the front street is generally frowned upon by society 🙃

We really enjoyed the vibe here. The location is nice for seeing the local area. The staff were very friendly. The bed was large, comfortable and clean. Having USB ports and power outlets on both sides of the bed was another nice touch.
The main issue with the room was that the windows tended to rattle loudly when others in the building close the door or when traffic passes by. The hotel is on the main road so a decent amount of traffic passes by. The shower also makes an incredibly loud noise while in use. My neighbour's shower woke me at 6:45 in the morning because I could hear it through the walls.

Excellent value for money for both food and rooms, bang in the centre of Grantown and most importantly dog friendly!!
The rooms have been updated from the other reviews I read. Electric shower so instant, lovely hot water. Room was a good size. Lovely big window. The meals were so reasonably priced. Even when they were short staffed and not serving meals we were welcome to buy takeaway and bring it back to eat in the dining room. The staff were brilliant.
The heated towel rail never came on and it was quite cold in Grantown on Spey when we were there. A little warmth in the bathroom would have been good. The heater in the bedroom worked though.
Handy central location, nice room size , very reasonable food prices. Loved the lights on the bed headboard.
No hand rail in bathroom for bath.
