For the price I would not hook there again. Much tidier hostels available.

Very scruffy, and no indication it was mid renovation. There was no door numbers on one the rooms I booked. Toiletries were in an non labelled bottle which could have been anything. The room made a big noise when next door used the bathroom.

I liked the location of the place, very friendly staff. Good value for money.

Cons:

The water was at times dangerously hot and could not be turned colder. Geezers need some looking at.

Good value and a good night's sleep.
Pros:

Breakfast good value. The wee restaurant was the same. Normal portion sized, not as big as you might expect, but that suited us fine. Beds comfortable and we slept great even in the heat. Hotel had put a fan in the room which was good.

Cons:

Very short staffed when we stayed, so had to wait a bit longer when there were queries, but overall didn't take away from the positives.
