Great Hotel - Superb Staff
Pros:

Our overnight stay at the Marriott Courtyard,  Southpark Dr, Bkacksburg, VA was excellent.  Family was in town to visit Virginia Tech on an admissions visit.

Room very clean, comfortable.  Hotel on quieter side of town with msny restaurants and a Krogers nearby - and very close to Main Street and the VT campus.

What made the hotel so nice was the front desk folks, especially Mary and Larie.  Kind, engaging folks who answered many questions I had and gave great advice about the local area and how it and VT has changed, recommendations on nearby good coffee places, the policies of the hotel and even a Willy Wonka golden ticket discussion.  We talked VT football, my time attending VT in the 1980s, and our excitement about our cutrent visit.  These are truly two great members of the hotel team and both represent the Marriott brand well.  We have stayed multiple times here over the years and will continue to do so in the future!

Great hotel to stay in
Pros:

The room was nice and spacious. The beds were comfortable as well, and a short drive to downtown Blacksburg. A very nice and clean hotel, and friendly staff.

Cons:

It is a great hotel. Nothing I can think of.

Excellent location, friendly staff, and I like the bar and restaurant in the lobby.

Cons:

The elevator smells like mold and the hotel could definitely use some facelifts in the rooms.
