Always love this hotel wonderful staff. Beds seem to be needing a refurbish as my last week stay between the two hotels differed compared to last April and July stays.
Pros: staff - wonderful!!
Cons: add gluten free options for breakfast
Beds and pillows vary by executive ro booked
Hotels.com has extreme ranges of prices that don’t always meet a 4 or 5 star European setting
Usually stay next door at the Convention center but wanted to see the difference with a business suite at Ramada Parc. Pros: very friendly reception and staff. Always enjoy the spa and gym facilities. Clean and calm environment. Breakfast has pretty good options and fresh eggs/omelette station is lovely. Cons: not enough electrical outlets in room especially for a business suite ie: phone and computer charging. Beds/pillows are not all the same standard/room, but I was accommodated and able to change rooms. My room had very low water pressure so it was nicer to shower in the gym. Difficult to get all shampoo out of my hair. It would be really great to have gluten free options for toast, etc. as I have left a comment on previously and haven’t seen this implemented yet. On hotels.com app and website extreme swing in rates and extremely inflated last minute during non-peak times.
So clean. Comfortable, the Breakfast was so good. I 100 % like to stay here. Strongly recommend others to share with my experience
The hotel was very nice and in a great location, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The swimming pool was great, the restaurant where we had dinner was excellent, breakfast was satisfactory, and our room was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.
Hotel is great. Facilities such as the pool and gym are exceptional. Breakfast was beautiful. But I felt my room and the halls looked a little dated and tired. However, overall a very pleasant stay and would certainly return and stay at this hotel again.
The experience had in this Ramada Plaza Bucharest, during those hours of participation in a meeting, was a terrible one, unrepeatable. I do not recommend this hotel at least considering this aspect.
The Restaurant area of this hotel is populated by unprofessional, extremely rude staff, with gross attitudes, being careless and unable to understand a simple, common situation(s). Moreover, the Restaurant “professionals” does not know how to interact with customers, and they proved unable to offer a simple solution to a simple situation in their area of activity. Their approach and communication with customers are not even up to that level of an ordinary neighborhood pub.
The employee at the Reception desk, to a simple question about the swimming pool schedule in this hotel just turned out to be hostile and unpleasantly surprised, inviting me to consult the Internet if I am looking for details. The obtuseness and incoherence of this employee's answers, the unprofessionalism and arrogance with which she treats customers were completely incomprehensible.
However, If you to leave and to pay for parking, get ready to have a surprise, because it seems that the news of card payment has not reached this hotel. You will be in the situation of only cash payments for the parking, and obviously any detail with reference to this aspect asked at the Reception desk will clash with the arrogance, ineptitude and rudeness of the person behind the counter.
Anyway, as a short summary, if you really want to experience unprofessional, rude behavior that has nothing to do with the hospitality industry, the Ramada Plaza Bucharest Hotel is the ideal place! Enjoy!
It's the second time I've left personal items in the room, and when I call, they say they didn't find anything. Such a thing is unacceptable under the conditions in which I know for sure what I left and where. A shame about the location, especially for the fitness room and spa. For these facilities I always came to this hotel, but the staff makes me choose another location.
All good in the place.
Great breakfast.
One thing however I was in my room when the cleaning lady came, she change towels in bathroom, empty the bins but she just pull roughly the old bedsheets and blanket on the bed ( I was there three days) did not even touch the pillows.. no floor cleaning…
Stayed here for a few days during a city break. My twin room was spotlessly clean, had a very large and varied selection of tea and coffee (although the coffee was awful) and had a decent TV with very effective air-conditioning. The decor was quite late 90s, but it felt like quite good quality so I was very pleased. Very well connected area for the price, and the breakfast was superb. I would like to add however that, towards the end of service many items were very cold. Proper ground coffee machines were provided here, and there were a couple of different beans available, which was a nice touch. More hashbrowns next time, please!
Very recommending hotel nice hotel I stay in 719 September 22-24hrs a very nice hotel special thank to the manager in the reception, who was very friendly and helpful sad but I forgot his name it was 23/09/24 5pm, the reception in spa is a bit rude but still was fine
I like the view
Lovely hotel, room is spacious and clean. Towels changed daily (which was a surprise!) lovely selection of teas/coffee in room! Breakfast is lovely too!
We only had 1 robe in room but quickly rectified!
Staff were really helpful, and allowed us to have a late checkout till 2pm and stored our luggage.
Bar area is nice with an array of drinks and bar snacks
Big inconsistencies with the pool area and whether you get charged or not!!
The rooms are old and dirty and after using the toilet for the first time it got clogged. I asked twice for it to be fixed, nobody bothered to came and fix this so it was very hard to use the toilet. The staff was rude and they weren’t willing to help you. The only good thing was the breakfast.
The hotel is pretty old, but the room was big enough and clean. The Spa is really nice, all amenities needed for a good relaxation. The breakfast and dishes from the restaurant were pretty good. The staff was nice and helpful. The hotel also has free parking.
Unfortunately, despite being charged for a 'business room' to accommodate me, my wife and my daughter we were also, on the last day, also charged for the Spa / pool despite already paying for an upgrade to the business room on day one.
The hotel told us that we we're being upgraded to facilitate space for three guests on day one, but on the last day the story changed and we were told the charge was for an extra bed. This wasn't made clear and the service we received when we complained was poor...we were effectively told we were wrong and had to pay for the additional services added! Poor service all round.
The hotel facilities were really nice and the bar, food and pool were all decent. However the service received, and the fact that we were overcharged for elements which should have been included spoiled the experience.
Convenient stay for a trip to Bucharest!
Good customer service, good food and quiet .
I booked this property for my husband, my daughter 17 and myself. They only gave us one bed because my daughter was supposed to sleep with us. They made me pay for a extra bed when I made the reservation for 3. I have never had this kind of problem before
You’re half an hour drive from the centre and if you want to use the pool you have to pay $25 for a day pass. Staff not very friendly. Rooms desperately need updating. Breakfast was very good though. I was here for a conference, and the venue is fine for that, but I wouldn’t stay here for a holiday.
