Pros:

The location was great with a nice view. The staff was also very kind and helpful.

Cons:

The rooms are very dated - both the bedroom and bathroom parts. We booked a double bed, but got twin beds which were not very comfortable.

Brilliant location for a stay of a few days.
Pros:

Excellent location. Comfortable bed. Clean room apart from the smell in the bathroom (see what I didn't like), Excellent roof top restaurant with reasonable prices. Friendly reception staff.

Cons:

There was a horrible smell in the bathroom. We were not the first people to report this so it seems to be an ongoing problem. The cleaning team did their best to mask it each day but by the end of the day it was really strong again. Breakfast was disappointing. Too much cake which no one seemed to eat so what do they do with it all? (again we are not the first to report this), no fresh fruit (just jam) to go with yogurt, no fresh fruit juice only fruit drink, unappetising cooked breakfast, unattractive choice of bread.

el que no m'ha agradat gens ès el tema garatge es diu que n'hi ha pero quan arribes diuen que hi ha una persona que l'aparca i te'l porta, l'ultim dia el van portar tard i amb els seients tombats i el pagues directament a aquesta persona en cash sense cap rebut, no es l'esperable en un hotel de 4 estrelles

Splendid stay at Splendid Hotel
Pros:

We really liked the hotel. Very good location close to the center, wonderful breakfast, spectacular view. Everything was very good. We really enjoyed our stay at Splendid hotel and we highly recommend it.

Cons:

The only minus that created a bit of discomfort for us was the fact that it was quite cold in the room and quite humid, there was no heating except through air conditioning. Somehow the sheets were always cold or damp, but it is possible that we caught a very cold period in Taormina.
