Excellent location, Good value for the money and clean, but decor a bit dated.
Pros:

I liked the fact there was a pool, sauna and hot tub.
I loved the fact there were 3 EV charges on the premises and they didn't charge us. that is VERY big kudos.
I thought the location was good and the property was clean

Cons:

I found the decor kinda old (circa 1980's). It was clean and proper, just felt like it they were still preparing for 1980 lake placid olympics.
the breakfast was fine Standard microwave eggs, bacon, potatoes, coffee and toast. I thought the yogurt dispenser was nice.. Just never understand why there is never any fresh fruit. Like a banana , or orange, or berries or something other than a bunch of plastic wrapped apples which was unappealing to the eye (why is everything wrapped in plastic!).

Beautiful lake view suite with very kind service
Pros:

I had a lake view suite that was very quiet, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was tasty with a lot of variety. The location is very close to town and steps to Mirror lake. The staff was pleasant and kind especially the gentleman at the front desk.

Cons:

It seemed a little worn, there was a flight of stairs to navigate.

It was amazing!
Pros:

I loved the location. The pool and ping-pong table was awesome for the kids when it was raining.

Location. Across from Herb Brooks Arena

Cons:

Place is old and tired. Not terribly clean, particularly the bathrooms. We were afraid to use our terrace as there was rotting wood. This place us in rough shape. It was expensive compared to the surrounding amenities.

Loved the Cookies and Hot Water Station
Pros:

The complimentary cookies and hot water were a wonderful touch. While hot water was also available in our room, having easy access to it in the main area was much more convenient and enjoyable.

It was a pleasant one night stay that allowed us a nice visit with our grandson who lives nearby.
Pros:

It is nicely located in Lake Placid across the street from the Olympic Center. Room was large, but on the second floor with no elevator. We got our bags up and the staff offered to help if we needed it. It is an old establishment with limited outlets and a older bathroom, but beds were comfortable. AC was effective, but noisy. It was a good value relative to other facilities in the tourist town in the midst of the summer tourist season. There is a breakfast with waffles, coffee, cereal, and some fruit.

Cons:

As mentioned above, AC was noisy. Bathroom was small with shower curtain. Limited electrical outlets and no elevator so people with lots of bags or troubles with stairs need to be sure to ask for a first floor room.
