Would never stay here again.
Pros:

Location to our event was convenient

Cons:

Filthy room and clearly had not been completed, no towels or bathmat in room, the washcloth I went to use on my face was covered in someone else’s make up, the room had not been dusted in several places, the floor was the worst-clumps of blonde hair, Bobby’s pins, grass and dirt. No one has vacuumed that carpet in a LONG time.

Close to Tailgate N' Tallboys
Pros:

We were in town for Tailgate N' Tallboys. I am pretty sure most of the people staying here were also in town for the same reason. This hotel was about a 1 mile walk to the festival in a safe, clean area. Just had to walk through Wal-Mart parking lot and take a right. Most of the walk was literally part of the camping/parking area of the event. Easy check-in, standard hotel breakfast, clean room, nice employees. Would definitely stay here again if we come back.

Great stop on the road from Chicago to St Louis.

Pros:

Staff could not be better. The front desk staff was kind when we checked in and,after we asked, suggested a Mexican restaurant we could walk to from the hotel. (Which was delicious). Breakfast was typical of a Fairfield offering and we enjoyed the bagel breakfast sandwiches. The attendant at breakfast kept the area clean and well stocked. Rooms were clean and had what we needed. Hot tub was out of order. The fitness room had nice equipment and was a spacious area for me to exercise.

Pros:

Front desk reception. Very pleasant, pretty young women. Even offered us an upgraded room. Bed was so very comfortable. Will stay again next week on our return trip home.

Cons:

The smell of fresh paint. Can't be helped during a remodel.

Bad overall business practices

Poor

Suites small and overpriced for what they are in Bloomington IL

Scanning and copying people's driver license and storing private info should be illegal and not disclosed as to where the data forced to provide is stored and shared

Check-in person (foreign) to America was rude and could not understand what they were saying

Manager was ride and hardly anyone was staying at the hotel

Our kids and grandkids were treated terrible too as well as myself who paid for 2 freaking rooms and we were not even staying a full night and gathered for a family get together

Just bad.

So called free breakfast was not even out of of substance.

Kinda rip off and biometric and data harvest and breaches basically what that operation does.

Also these online complaint forms are just BAD and exploit consumers and their data and feedback is basically a service and scripted nightmare

Your management and CEO needs to stop this so called service that ends up doing nothing for consumers and their data and license and data brokering and SaaS and AI scams and data brokering is bad.

Poor API and SaaS AI management and data and business practices at corporate level clearly.
