Sehr schlecht. Das Hotel war sehr schmutzig, überall waren Insekten. Es wurde offensichtlich seit Jahren nicht repariert. Alles wirkt sehr alt und vernachlässigt, überall lag Staub. Die Betten sind unbequem und nicht sauber. Auch das Badezimmer war sehr unsauber. Das gesamte Hotel macht einen stark abgenutzten Eindruck.

Ekelhaft. Dieses Hotel benötigt dringend eine Generalsanierung, bevor Gäste dort wieder übernachten sollten.

Great location and great staff
Pros:

The location and the character and history of the hotel

Cons:

Faded paint, mould ,needs to be refurbished without loosing the colonial character and a really good clean, dirty walls, lifts, windows
The rooms are in desperate need of updating, old kettles, we had no hot water In The shower
The curtains are old and smelly, the fridge door didn’t shut properly…the outer areas of the rooms desperately need cleaning…there should be cleaners in the hallways and main entrance cleaning all the time to make this grand hotel even more grand

Pros:

Good location, tasty and cheap breakfast with good views from restaurant.

Cons:

Not very clean, very old fashioned and outdated. Uncomfortable bed. Grumpy staff.

Quiet satisfied stay but not worth for the price
Pros:

Colonial Architecture and Very close to Colombo City.

Cons:

Not Maintained properly, Limited parking facilities, Rooms are not well clean and Hot water facility was not functioning well. Overall the stay is not comfortable

A comfortable and enjoyable stay with spacious rooms, excellent food, and outstanding staff service.

Our stay was extremely enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with an excellent air conditioner that made the stay even more pleasant. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep.
The food at the Level Restaurant was outstanding, with a great selection and excellent quality. It was also very convenient that room service menus were available upon request.
Most importantly, all the staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay, which truly made the experience memorable.
The only area that could be improved would be the bathroom, as it would benefit from an upgrade to a proper shower. Overall, however, it was a wonderful experience and we would happily stay again.
