Cons:

Cleaning Room Services not done on Sundays! Swimming pool was not heated - only pool available beside the Hot Springs which charges that did not include Lockers & Gowns.

Staff was friendly, room spacious, parking available. Hotel guests could use a gym in town free of charge, which was very nice.

Cons:

We booked the hotel for the attached hot springs. Besides the fact that you have to book the springs separately and make sure you get the time slot you need (not easy on a road trip): The place is in every guide a "must see" on the great ocean road. We dont agree. Maybe a hot spring is special for Australia, but it was not more than "alright" for us. Very crowded, the infrastructure showing its age and overall just not as good as similar places in other countries.

Our room looked out onto a dirty roof and a bank of air conditioners. The room was generally old and worn. Poor value for money.

Really pleased we stayed here. Sorry we weren't staying long enough to enjoy the hot springs.
Pros:

The location of this hotel is beautiful. It's a relatively new building, the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. A little balcony is a bonus, we could have the sliding door open for fresh air. We appreciated a ceiling fan in the room too so we didn't have to have the aircon on.
